Astral carefully set Simon down, letting out a shaky sigh.
"Y-you can go wherever you want, of course, I just- it might not be a good idea for you to come with me." Astral gave Simon a quick hug, then pulled away.
“O-okay I’ll probably just go back to the living room then or something.” He said, hugging Astral back tightly before letting go of him. “How long do you think you’ll be gone?” He asked.

"I… less than half an hour, I'm sure," Astral promised. Would Simon do okay on his own..? Astral was starting to doubt that. Still, he couldn't let the human see how he treated his 'boyfriend.'
He nodded. “Okay go ahead then. I’ll be okay, promise.” He reassured, stepping away from Astral.

"Alright… I'll be back soon," Astral promised. He glanced at the flower one last time, then took off out of the room.
Simon watched the god go, his brow still furrowed with concern. He’d never seen Astral freak out like that. He still didn’t even understand why this was a matter of such concern besides the fact that the flower just wasn’t where it was supposed to be. He turned, looking at the flower, curious. Not curious enough to approach it, but curious enough to stay for a moment.

The flower was a golden orange color, the five pointed petals all leaning slightly downward. There was something… Off, about it, but it wasn't easy to pin down what it was. Astral had already said it was his physical tie to the world, but perhaps that wasn't all.
Simon was now of course, deeply curious. If it was something that could hurt him…Astral would’ve made sure he left the room….right? ‘Yeah..yeah that makes sense. I’m not doing anything wrong.’ He reassured himself, taking a small step closer.

The flower seemed to tilt towards Simon, but it was very hard to tell. It would be so, so easy to step closer, and it was very pretty…
The flower cast it's spell over Simon, pulling the man closer.

Simon of course, couldn’t help it now, taking a few more steps closer to the flower. Some part of his mind was trying to scream at him to stop, that he shouldn’t be doing this but…that just didn’t seem too important right now.

The petals of the flower seemed to open more now that Simon was closer, a shining object to be found there. It was hard to tell what it was, but it seemed so pretty…

Simon’s real conscience got through enough for him to be able to stop his hand from moving, just for a second. But it wasn’t enough. The conscious part of his mind kept fighting, slowing his hand as it stretched out to touch the flower, delaying the inevitable, even as the desire to touch it grew and grew.

Now, the petals reached up towards Simon's hands, there was no denying it. Closer, closer, come closer child! There's no way I could hurt you, how could any part of Astral ever hurt you? He loves you! Come, come, I'll show you, just touch my center child, and everything will be okay.

The flower petals gently wrapped around Simon's hand and wrist, pulling him down into it. It started to envelop all of Simon, the petals tight now. Simon was trapped inside, the glowing object inside to be… a bed? What the hell was going on??

Aaaaaaand now of course Simon could completely panic. Needless to say, his claustrophobia hated this immensely. Bad experience so far 10/10 would not recommend. He was just wishing he’d left as soon as Astral had.

The flower itself seemed spacious, except for the fact that Simon was much bigger than it for before. Simon had been pulled don to the bed, of course, the petals around him offering a soft glow so he could actually see.
Simon was left alone for some time, as Astral had mentioned, but eventually, someone could be heard calling Simon's name.
"Simon?" Astral called out, growing more worried as the human didn't respond.

Simon was still panicking, he didn’t like anything about this at all. He was afraid, and he didn’t know what was going on and he had oh so many regrets at the moment. So when he heard Astral he’d almost started crying in relief. “A-Astral! Astral!!” He practically screamed, desperate for the man to hear him.

Astral had come into the garden apprehensively, and when he heard Simon's muffled screams he hurried to where he knew they were coming from. He knelt by the flower, taking the base of it. The petals unfurled, the tiny Simon inside released without going back to normal.

Simon was of course, still very much afraid, the only thing he was capable of doing right now was stammering out apologies, over and over again. He was just very mentally overwhelmed and didn’t know how to process.

Astral knelt down, carefully cupping Simon in his hands and lifting him out of the flower. The god touched Simon's cheek, and in a moment he was back to normal size. Astral wrapped his arms securely around Simon, holding him close.
"I've got you," Astral said softly,already pulling Simon away from the flower. "I'm so, s-so sorry…"
He hugged Astral tightly, trembling like a leaf in the wind. “I-I’m s-s-sorry.” He stammered out, clinging to the god. “W-w-what was t-that? What happened?”
