Khadijah narrowed her eyes at the human before her. She didn't like how he was keeping his voice down. It meant that there might be others. But his words were clear to her. Nothing about this was really "okay," but it could be worse. Khadijah mentally sighed. There was the choice to let this human closer or to leave obvious signs for hunters who would be far less kind. Her body finally fell back to the ground. She felt so tired.
