Met shrugged. I believe in science. It’s really good. If you ever get the chance you should watch it.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max nodded, "I'll make a mental note to do so."

Met smiled again from his slight reprimance. So. Um… what now?

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max shrugged, "I… I don't know. There isn't much to do round here so… I have no idea."

Met chewed on his lip and set down his pen. He didn’t really have much else to say to Max. And he was right, there was really nothing to do around here.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"We could always go for a walk or something…?" He muttered, but then again he wondered when Met would be leaving.

Met picked up the pen, then wrote, That’d be wonderful!

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max smiled softly, "Great, let's get going then."

Met clicked shut his pen and set it down. He gestured towards the door, inviting Max to go first.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Thank-you." He headed to the door and held it open for Met once he was outside.

Met shed the sweater before he rose and stepped outside, smiling his thanks. He straightened up a little once he was outside, the hot sun shining down on his fluffy black hair.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max shut the door behind him, smiling up at Met before he pointed in a random direction, "That way?"

Met smiled back down at Max, then turning to look in the direction. He nodded, stepping away from Max so he could lead.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max slipped his hands into his pocket before leading them off into the trees. The sun beat down on them, shining through the leaves.

Met looked around the path they took, his skin prickling with curiosity. He’d never been down this path before. He hoped to see an animal or two.

@ElderGod-Carrots

A deer bounded not too far away from the two making Max smile a little. It stopped to look at them for a little while before going on its way.

Met made an ‘o’ shape with his mouth, his soft voice forming the word accompanied with it. He smiled at the deer as it bounded away, rubbing his neck.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max chuckled softly, smiling up at Met before continuing to walk, stepping softly onto the crunching leaves.

Met smiled back down faintly, looking back at the floor. This was nice, just walking in silence, despite how much he aided to it.

@ElderGod-Carrots

For once Max didn't mind the near silence, he actually enjoyed it. It was comfortable and not uncomfortable for once.

Met wanted to ask Max a question. What was his favorite animal was, other than the fauna around here. Perhaps mythical creature?

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max pushed away some tree branches, allowing the light to filter through as they walked towards the edge of a cliff face.

Met opened his mouth to speak, but his voice came out deflated and awfully quiet. He sighed and shook his head.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max walked to the edge and sat, dangling his legs over the side, “Met… do you ever think you’ll be able to speak?” He asked.

Met scooted carefully close to his side and sat, their hands close together. He chewed on his lip and shrugged.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max nodded a little, staring out over the valley bellow, “Do you think you’ll go back to the other side of the lake when we get back?”

Met looked down at the valley too, to avoid staring at his companion. He shrugged, not sure.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max took a deep breath and nodded a little once more. He opted to stay quiet this time.

Met swallowed a little, sighing softly into the warm air. It was quiet, but too quiet. He didn’t like it.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Max leaned back a little, studying the view before them and wishing he could paint it. He glanced at Met out the corner of his eye before looking away.
