Dominic nodded a little bit, confused as to why someone was coming now, ruining his peace, his one time actually being happy around someone who seemed to care about him. He wanted to say something, anything that might make this easier, but he could think of none. Thankfully his manners kicked in, and he mumbled a soft thank you. Then, his tears began to fall when Sir Fluff was taken away, Now I'm all alone. . .

The other man sensed the tenseness of the situation and just decided to end the goodbye right then, "Alright, I'm sorry Matthew, I'll try to sneak you in later, alright?" He said as he grabbed Dominic's eyes, "Come along now."

((Okay, should we timeskip or something, or do you want to have them interact a tiny bit while he's there with the council or something?))

Dominic was sitting looking out the window of the room that the council had provided for him. He had left his dinner untouched, actually, he had left a lot of the meals that he had served him untouched, until he got too hungry. Which was how he feeling right now. His stomach growled loudly, but he tried to ignore it. He had been sitting looking out the window, looking for Matthew every day, hoping that he might come by, but for the past two days, he hadn't shown up.

Dominic turned and smiled faintly at him, "I-it's alright." he mumbled moving over to him, sniffling quietly, "Matthew, do you know what they're going to do?" He asked giving him a hug, "T-thank you for coming, I thought you weren't coming."

Dominic mumbled something under his breath, "Do you think that's a possibility?" He said with a sad sigh, "I'm just scared." He muttered under his breath. His eyes had lost their happy glow, and now it looked like his eyes had seemingly lost their happiness. "I want to just go home."

Dominic buried his face into Matthew's chest, "N-no, that home, your home." He mumbled with a small sigh. When had he begun to think of that as his home? "If I'm going through all of this to be here, I'm sure as hell going to stay." He said with a small smile, trying to lighten the moment.

He chuckled, "You better, or I think Sir Fluff would get mad at you, and me too." He said with a small smile, looking up at Matthew, his eyes looking a bit brighter and happier, "I miss you." he mumbled, "I guess, well, you really cared about me when others don't, so I really do." His cheeks flushed pink due to him being a little embarrassed to have admitted that.

Dominic shrugged a little bit, moving so that his chin would be resting on Matthew's shoulder, "I, guess so." He mumbled, "But, now I don't." He said with a bit of a smile, although he was sure Matthew couldn't see it.

Dominic leaned back and looked at Matthew, then realized what the question was, "Oh, uhm, no. . ." he mumbled, "I'm not hungry." His stomach growled right after he said that, "Well, not really. Please don't make me eat anything though, I feel to nervous to do that."

Dominics stomach growled again as he looked at the food, "I uhm, I might eat that. Later though." He said as he snuggled close to Matthew again. He really felt safe and comforted in the other man's arms, and he really liked it. He liked the feeling of peace he got being next to Matthew.

Dominic closed his eyes, hugging Matthew back, "M-Matthew." he whispered softly, "I have a question." He said enjoying the peacefulness of the situation, " Have you helped other people like me before?"

Dominic smiled a little bit, trying to stiffle a laugh, "HHmph, no more strays then I guess." He said, hoping that Matthew would take it as a joke, "Did you mean that though, when you said I was cute?"

Dominic's cheeks turned to a dark pink and he buried his face into Matthew's shirt, "HHmph,=." Was all he could get out, especially since he could think of nothing else to say, "T-that's really sweet of you." He said, with tears forming in his eyes, "You know, I'm going to miss you even more this time." he sad sadly, "I don't want to have to leave you just yet." But as he said that, he heard footsteps of one of the guards approaching, "Matthew?" He said, his voice full of worry.

"M-matthew," he whimpered softly, not wanting the other to leave, but trying to be brave, "I-I'll, see you tomorrow then." He murmured, still holding in his tears. He smiled a little bit at him, and tried to respond, but he couldn't and turned away, tears rolling down his cheeks. He had never cried for somebody like this before, he had never felt this lonely, or even this loved by anyone, and all he wanted to be back in Matthew's cottage, hiding under his wings again.
