Winchester High…. There Will Be Blood
Set in 2031, the story follows a Art and Lit teacher whose students are being kidnapped and horrifically murdered. The teacher also has psychic visions of the murders. Fed up with the dwindling attendance numbers he teams up with another psychic, a telekinetic, and an undercover cop that's posing as another teacher.

So it would be dark only if we played the characters right, because most of the darker/depressing stuff relies on the backstories we create for them. Also, it'll be a little jumbled because I haven't had time to refine the idea. But anyway, here we go lol.
Character A is a lab experiment. They were created as an experiment in human genetics. Locked in a lab all their lives, they haven't ever known what it really means to be human. What an emotion is. That love is beautiful, that sadness isn't a bad thing. That anger doesn't always mean violence. Now, they have escaped from the government lab that created them,
Character B is from another world. Another dimension. They aren't human, they never have been. They are on the run from forces in their own world. Forces that would torture and kill them for what they have done.
When the two meet, they must work together to outrun those trying to destroy them, or they will be recaptured, and killed, or worse. If the government gets their hands on both of them, both A and B will be used in experiments. A in the same as before, B in all new, possibly/probably horrific ones. If they are captured by those hunting B, then they will be tortured and killed in ways their imaginations can hardly grasp. They must hide and evade from these groups, all while trying to survive and fit in in a world neither is familiar with.
Idk. Like I said, the dark part would be fueled by the characters themselves. It's just an idea, we don't have to do it lol
