“Yeah. . .” He murmurs, “I’m sure.”

Chrys bites his lip. “Do…you need to say goodbye to anyone? Or…get your things?”

He tilts his head, “No.”

Chrys nods, “Okay…because sooner or later…people will start to notice things…you’ll grow more and more cold…you’ll get pale…and you’ll have to stay with me for a while until the change is fully complete and you’re okay to go out again…”

Rodya nods, “Wait. . . I’ll still be able to write my sister, right?”

Chrys nods. “Yes…but after a while…it would be best to…well…” He goes quiet.

He bites his lip, “YOu mean I can’t write a letter-?”

Chrys shakes his head. “you can! Its just…keep in mind that after a few years of you, supposedly getting old, you’d need to start distancing yourself…and maybe even fake your own death…”

Rodya bites his lip, “I know.”

Chrys sighs, rubbing his forehead. “And…you’d have to watch everyone you love die…”

(He’s trying so hard to change his mind-)

Rodya looks at him, “Do you want to watch me die and be alone again?” He asks bluntly.

Chrys flinches, silent.

“Exactly. I’ll be fine. My sister and my father are the only people I really care about. They are all I have left.” He crosses his arms.

Chrys sighs, “Okay…but…please think about it…”

“I have thought about it.”

Chrys looks at him, then sighs.

Rodya looks back at him, “I’ve had almost two weeks to think about it.

Chrys blinks, “Oh…”

He sighs, “I want to do it, Chrys.”

Chrys sighs. “Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

Chrys sighs. “O-okay…”

He smiles slightly at him.

Chrys looks at him, silent.

Rodya looks back at him.

Chrys sighs, “Let me know when you’re ready…”

“Whenever you are.”

Chrys sighs, “I’d never be ready…come on…” He offers his arm.

Rodya takes his arm, laughing softly.

Chrys smiles slightly, but doesn’t laugh. He brings him to a room, “Make yourself comfortable…its better if you lay down…”
