Circus freak sidekick/supervillain romance? Possibly with added parenting shenanigans? (0/1 players)

I had this idea for a plot for a long time and I decided to finally use it! I know I still have roleplays to respond to. Sorry to the people I have waiting as I’ve been busy with school and very burnt out. Anyways, a supervillain on the run meets a traveling circus. They eventually come across a magical creature of legend and their child (adoptive, one of the circus kids they took pity on haha) whom they, out of a sense of totally-not-justice-only-for-self-gain, free and hire as henchmen. The science that the supervillain used to gain their powers cannot explain why this creature exists. But one thing is certain: this creature could be the ticket towards greater schemes of villainy and possibly may help them take over the world (mwah ha ha!).

Anyways, local supervillain with too big of a heart, cryptid, and their adoptive kid are now at large. Possibly there is a corrupt government parading as heroes, that the villain and company will take up the reigns to stop.

No real rules beyond be respectful and have fun, template is optional. We’ll begin when the three first meet, I am the creature and the kid.
