“Rookie we’re literally in the middle of class….” she protested weakly
"That's not an answer, babe."
L made a small noise of frustration, she could NOT answer this question.
"I guess…" Rook sighed, going to pull away. "I have to take that as a no."
L automatically pulled her back, she’d made up her mind now.
Rook's eyebrows shot up, but she smirked. "Yeah?"
“Oh my god shut up and kiss me already”
"Gladly." With that, Rook gently placed her lips on L's.
L kissed her back softly.
The kiss only lasted a matter of a few moments, before they were interrupted by the clapping of Mrs. Ore, who was looking amused.
L broke away, still blushing. “U-uh sorry ma’am. But we did finish our laps before everyone else”
Rook was grinning, a bit goofily, at L. "Tongue are muscles, right? Why not exercise them?" She quipped.
L almost choked on her laughter. How have they not gotten expelled yet tbh?
Mrs. Ore rolled her eyes, a small smile on her face. "That's enough pda for this class, thank you."
L was surprised they hadn’t gotten a detention. She was liking this teacher more and more.
Rook let out a dramatic sigh, wrapping an arm around L's waist as she turned to the teacher. She saluted Mrs. Ore, grinning. "Sir yes sir!"
L mimicked her, trying not to smile.
Mrs. Ore chuckled, turning her attention to the rest of the students that had finished their laps. "We've got about fifteen minutes left of class, and we'll spend that on some cool down exercises and then free time."
L gasped overdramatically “Rookie we get free time!”
"You know what that means~" Rook said, smirking at L.
“No it means those rolly floor scooters. If they don’t have them I’m suing” L said as if it was obvious.

Rook's whole demeanor changed, as she light up like a little kid. "Unholy hell, you're right!"
“Exactly! And then we murder people’s ankles” L grinned. This was literally her whole childhood.
Rook leaned close to her ear to whisper. "You wanna joust? I thought I saw some pool noodles in the supply closet."
“Oh my gosh yeeeeeeees!”
Rook grinned, suddenly lifting L in the air and twirling her around. "My lady, I challenge you to a duel!"
“Challenge accepted, madame!” She booped Rook’s nose
Mrs. Ore cleared her throat to get their attention, and then jerked her head in the direction of the supply closet. "Go and get 'em then."
“Yes ma’am!”
