"Yes, well, the moon has her reasons," Ellie avoided the topic. Mother got quite dangerous when she was mad, but she was never mad at her, just at other planets and stars.

“Mmm…” She rolled her eyes and turned her head up to the burning sun ahead. The area around her was quite chilly, but the sunlight that streamed through her warmed her up quite nicely. Her Father was never the hothead, but clearly the other girl’s Mother was the type.

Ellie noticed Oriana's actions, and kept her feelings to herself. How could she be so calm after falling, or so she presumed, to this, strange alien planet? But she felt much calmer after the shadows, the familiar darkness of the shadows embraced her once more.
She kept her head up to the sun, which shone on. She already missed its intense heat but she hoped she’d be back soon. She sighed softly and looked back down at the clearly unfriendly moon child.
“What are we to do now?”

She hugged herself. "…I don't know," she whispered. She didn't like this feeling. Whatever it was, she didn't like it.
“Could I know what your name is?” She asked gently, moving to sit down next to her, watching her curiously. Now that she was able to get a better look at the girl, she had very long, dark hair. It was rather pretty, but Oriana still liked hers the best.

Ellie hesitated before answering. "…Ellie," she whispered, yet again and hugged herself tighter. She didn't look at Oriana, or at the sky, she just stared down at herself.
Silence fell between them. The breeze, which was foreign to both of them, startled Oriana out of her silence to jump up as it stirred her thick hair.
“What is that?” She sounded afraid and slightly apprehensive.

The wind blew her hair into her face, and still she didn't stir. "…don't know," Ellie whispered. She didn't know when she would stop whispering, but she didn't really know who the other was. Though the wind startled her just as much she didn't show it.
(So How should these two bond?)
school
(they should get to know each other; i plan on forcing ellie to open up a bit as time goes on)
(Ah ok. So what’s the plan going forward, though?)
school
(perhaps at some point oriana can relate to ellie or something? idk)
(idk man I’ll try? Wanna skip to night?)

(sure)
The silence ensued to the evening, and by then Ellie had mostly gotten used to the wind, though she still jumped slightly when it came. She spoke, out loud, not in whispers for the first time since she arrived on this strange planet, breaking the silence. "…I miss my home."
