There are bonds between people. Connections that we can't see. Everyone is bound to one person. Most bonds are weak enough that if one person gets a cut, all the other will get is a small scar. Others bonds are so strong that any wound will be replicated exactly.
Normally that's all fine and dandy. After all, people don't usually go out and get themselves stabbed.
Two people meet and fall in love with their bonded, although they don't know. One is a hero, the other is a civilian. You can see how that turns out.

I don't mind whichever one I am.
I will probably ask for a sample paragraph if I don't know you/your writing style.

Growing up on the streets he learned to be seclusive, and can be often secretive. Very few people know him well. He also tends to be very independant, and won't accept help easily.)

Style: Is almost always wearing his leather jacket with a hood, and a pair of darker colored sneakers. Cargo pants, or sweats, depending on the day.

Attempting to complete college he still works a lot in order to keep up with rent in his tiny apartment.
Power/s: (only for you) Aura magic, telepathy. Skye is a star based elemental, and can use a type of aura magic that allows for illusions, mind control/manipulation. Mind reading, and a little bit of telekinesis. He is also a skilled swordsman.

Background: Ana is the middle of two. She has two brothers, one older and one younger. Damian is 25, and Joshua is 17. Even though Joshua is younger, her two brothers would do anything to protect her.
Ana has always loved music. She has made it her career. She has a very popular YouTube channel on which she posts covers and original songs. She also performs at open mic nights around the city and is a solid music act at her aunt’s café, Kara’s Kafe.
From a young age, Ana did martial arts. She trained and trained because she found it fun. She obviously had some major injuries at times, injuries of which Skye wasn’t free from. When they met though, he forgave her. But…he still gets injured due to her training.

Ana took Skye's hands in her, her green eyes searching his violet. "I know you have to do this. It's for the good of the city. I can handle it, Skye. I can handle anything that he throws at you. Trust me."

Skye sighed, unsure of how to deal with her, and he nemesis. "Alright.." he said reluctantly, his eyes tearing away from hers as he looked to the night sky above them.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Alta. Come to fight me?" Impulse, the main villain of the school, sneered. "Oh, and I see you brought your bonded. Am I correct in remembering that you have a very strong bond? I'll have fun with this fight.

Skye whipped around, his features turning stony, glad he had his mask on at the time as he whipped up a shield around Ana so Impulse couldn't hurt her directly as he drew his blades, violet streaks appearing on his skin as he summoned his powers.

Impulse let out a hoarse laugh, sending chills down Ana's spine. "You seem to forget that I don't need a shield to get to your beloved." Her hand moved and Ana started to choke. Impulse's powers could take control of the human body. As it wasn't a physical wound, nothing would happen to Skye. Impulse knew that. She let Ana's throat go, and Ana gasped for breath.

Skye glared at her, snapping his fingers, and ending up behind Impulse, tackling her from behind.

"It's not going to be that easy," Impulse cackled, grabbing Skye and tossing him onto the ground. "You should know by now that I don't go down without a fight."

Skye scrambled to his feet, "Since when do ever make it easy?!" he growled, keeping his emotions in check as he tried to probe her mind for a plan.
