Princess Victoria is coming of age. With her parents long dead, her coronation is only the day after her 18th birthday.
On a hang-out session with her best friend Adrien - the cook's son - Victoria sees her Aunt Emilia conversing with a stranger. Getting closer, Victoria and Adrien hear that Emilia is planning on attacking Victoria the next day at her coronation. With this newfound knowledge, Victoria make sure to be well prepared while she is being crowned.

Style: Simple breaches and white linen shirts, short, brown lace-up boots, a tarnished cross worn beneath his shirt.
Personality: An ambivert, can be shy and withdrawn at times, Loyal to those he loves. Steadfast, never breaks promises, doesn’t see the point in breaking rules and prefers to stay on the safe side. Thoughtful, lots of ideas, but stays in the background and out of anyone’s notice.

Her left eye is mostly blue and her right eye mostly green, however. Tori’s hair is a natural red colour (actual red, not orange), and falls in waves around her shoulders.

  When Tori was 14, only a few months after the birth of Aidan, her parents were killed in a car crash. Becoming the Crown Princess of Gardenia was a massive responsibility for Tori. She had expected to reach middle age before her parents died and she inherited the throne. But 6 years away? It was almost too much for her to handle. Her Aunt Emilia was brought on to help bring Tori up so that she would be ready to rule.

"But I have every reason to worry," Tori replied, eyes starting to well with tears. "I expected that I would grow up, get married and have a kid or two before my parents died and gave me the throne. But here I am, newly 18 and about to become Queen of Gardenia. And I don't know what Aunt Emilia is going to do either."

Adrien leaned forward to give her a gentle hug before pulling away again. "Tori, I am so, so sorry about the way things have played out for you. It's terrible. But right now, added stress is the last thing you need in your life. I know it's hard, but do your best to breathe and take everything one step at a time. Worrying too much isn't going to help."

Tori put a hand over her heart as she calmed down. She took a few deep breaths and turned to face her best friend. "That doesn't make me any less scared," She said, a lone tear falling down her cheek.

"I'm sorry," Adrien replied quietly, almost sadly. "I'm sorry about how little I can help you. Tell me, what else can I do?" His faded eyes held traces of regretful green, looking up at her worriedly.
I wish I could help more.. I wish I could take all the weight off her shoulders..

"Just…just be there when I need you," Tori answered, taking Adrien's hands.

A faint blush spread across Adrien's cheeks, but he squeezed Victoria's hands back. "Of course. I promise." He paused, doing his best not to stare at her eyes for too long. "What can I do right now? To alleviate stress?"

"Nothing, since it's about to start," Tori answered, gesturing to where Adrien was supposed to be sitting, his family beckoning him. Tori let go of his hands, then kissed his cheek in a last minute decision, blushing.

Adrien slipped away, blush deepening. His cheek tingled where her lips had brushed across it, he had to draw himself back to the very alarming present to keep from fantasizing about her soft, full mouth, her beautiful eyes..
Snap out of it. Now.

The music started to play, and Tori walked down the centre of the throne room towards the priest at the end, who was speaking. "Today, we celebrate a great triumph," The priest said. "Our beloved Princess Victoria is exchanging her title of Crown Princess Victoria of Gardenia to become Queen Victoria of Gardenia." Victoria reached the end of the throne room and was breathing shallowly, utterly terrified

Adrien frantically tried to catch her eyes, he could see her shoulders tense and her breathing strain even from his position. Their eyes finally locked, and he gave her his gentlest, sweetest smile and most encouraging nod, mouthing 'You're doing fantastic.'

Victoria gave a half smile back, before turning her gaze to the priest. "By taking this tiara off," The priest said as Victoria bowed her head. "Victoria gives up her previous life as a princess of Gardenia." He took the tiara off her head and turned to the glass box behind him. He put the tiara in the glass box and picked up the crown. He lifted it high in the air for everyone to see. "Do you, Victoria Bethany Evangeline Renee, pledge to rule Gardenia with a kind and helpful heart, to protect it whatever the case and always put the kingdom first?"
Tori took a deep breath. "I do."
"With this crown on your head, I bestow onto you the kingdom of Gardenia," The priest said as he started to lower the crown on Tori's head.
"STOP!" A voice yelled from the back of the throne room.

Adrien whirled around, every single muscle in his body tight with anxiety and apprehendion. His siters both widened their eyes, straining to jump high enough over the shoulders of the other guests to see what all the commotion was about.

"That is an imposter!" Emilia yelled. "This is the real Princess Victoria!" Behind Emilia was a woman who looked exactly like Tori. Tori looked at her family and Adrien as if to say That's not me.

Adrien’s eyes widened, shooting back and forth between the two look alike before his shoulders relaxed. The Tori with the crown on her head was clearly the real one, looks put aside she was entirely different. At least, to him. The ah she carried herself, the way her eyes flickered around the room, the way her hands moved, the way she smiled. It was all familiar.

Inhaling deeply, he raised his voice above the commotion. “What’s your proof?”
