Gabriel rolled his eyes, leaving the room. His satchel felt constraining around his fragile chest. He stumbled down the stairs of his home, already out of breath. He should have healed his goddamn chest, not the eye. Being blind wasn't too bad. Glazing his hand over the sigils, he booked it out the door. He couldn't stay stuff in a room with that monster for another second. As he slammed the door, the sigils on the door glowed red, expelling a wild heat. Once Gabriel was out on the streets, he shuffled down the road, keeping his head down. People passed him as if he was a ghost. He was surprised he hadn't craved another vial of bleed yet. Far from his home, he stopped, standing in front of a council building. A black haired man stood in front of him. "Go the fuck away." He growled.
The man crossed his arms, snarling at Gabriel. He was clearly disappointed at the Warlock. "Gabriel, how did you live? And what did you do to your body? Look at you! You look worse than Silas when he died."
Gabriel slowly breathed in, wincing as the pain in his chest burned throughout his body. He gritted his teeth, his face twisting in anger and pain. "You executed Silas. Of course, I look worse. He didn't have time to devolve into bitter rage or crave revenge. Now piss off, Kaz."
"Please—" Kaz pulled out a knife. "I think it's time for your demise. You've lived for too long. You should have died in the war you started. You should have died with your child." Kaz charged Gabriel, swinging the knife at his left side. He tried to move to the side, but the knife caught and blade dragged across his skin. His sliced the skin open and blood spill out quickly. Gabriel stared at Kaz, falling to his knees as he glared at the goody two shoes. Kaz looked at the knife and then Gabriel. He started to walk away, spinning the knife. Another demon put down for the world's sake.
Fuck. Gabriel wished he didn't walk outside. He sorta wished he'd put up with Nyx. Maybe dying was for the better. It was between getting torture or suffering quickly. Despite his thoughts, Gabriel dragged himself up, getting on his shaky feet. He started to drag himself home. He wasn't sure if he would make it home. Gabriel started to laughed as his body grew weaker. What a way to start off the evening.
