He hummed and nods his head, ripping a piece of the bread off and softly holding it up to Alex’s lips

Alex managed to open his mouth, taking the piece between his lips. He let out a low hum, closing his eyes. It was so, so good…
He smiles softly, watching him with a gentle hum. “I’m really sorry for everything that’s happened to you…”

Alex ate the food slowly, smiling softly.
"I… there's nothing that can be changed," Alex said softly, finally opening his eyes again. He swallowed, content with the food.
"But this kindness you're showing me means a lot to me."
He nods his head silently, still helping him eat. “Alex…if you ever need anything’s ont be afraid to ask…” he smiles softly

Alex smiled again.
"Thank you." He accepted more food, half closing his eyes again. He looked absolutely horrendous, like the rotting corpse he was.
He smiles and nods. "Of course. Is there anything else you need…? I've got to head back soon…"

Alex shook his head just a bit.
"No, nothing. But… You'll have to let me back down before you go." Agreed hated it, but it couldn't be helped.
He hummed and shook his head. “Or…we could play a trick in the entire town” he raised an eyebrow

Alex's eyes widened a bit.
"O-Oh??" He was a bit confused.
He hummed and nodded, standing before pausing. "Do you mind if I cover you with dirt…?" He asked softly

"Ah… n-no..?" Alex was very, very confused now.
"Just what are you planning, Logan?"
"Well…we sat you up, right? What if we covered your legs and part of your torso with dirt and made it look like your body had elongated? Mess with the mind of the townsfolk?"

Alex chuckled a bit.
"It might be fun," he admitted.
He smiles and nods, standing to get dirt and push it gently over the others legs and torso, leaving his legs and hips uncovered. “There we go!”

Alex couldn't help but giggle a bit.
"Everyone is going to be so freaked out…"
Logan smiles softly and nods. "I better get home before it gets dark…but I'll come visit you tomorrow…"'he smiles softly and stood, waving his fingers

Alex couldn't wave, so he just offered a farewell smile.
"Thank you again, so much," he said. "I'll be looking forward to seeing you again."
“Of course Alex. Ill be back tomorrow, I promise” he smiles and skipped away

Alex nodded, relaxing. He knew Logan would keep his promise.

Alex had fallen asleep, as much as he could, but the next day he was awoken to a scream. It seemed people had finally noticed him.
Logan had been walking with his father when he heard the scream and smirked, following his dad into the woods and to Alex. He glanced at the other with a wink

Alex stayed quiet when Logan came with his father, just smiling in turn. He was able to shift just slightly, hands in his lap as he looked upon the other bystanders with distain.
The mayor quickly turned on Logan. “You! Did you and your little band of gay freaks do this?!”
“No, father!” His eyes were wide

Alex had been thinking over the night, and he knew how he was going to handle this. He gave a curt, dry, sarcastic laugh. He couldn't… couldn't afford to be the ray of sunshine.
"What, scared your measures to keep me trapped weren't enough? That cutting my muscles and tendons to keep me from moving will be found out?" Alex spoke loud enough so everyone gathering could hear him. He wanted them to know, wanted them to see this wasn't what had been planned for him.
The mayor looked from Logan to Alex, hissing. “We kept you alive to be a freak show. Now. We don’t have much use for you anymore, maybe it would be better to kill you”
“Father, stop!” Logan grabbed his arm. “It’s obvious he’s gone through enough. Don’t you see him always hurting forever is a much better punishment?” He flinched at his own words

Alex's eyes widened some. Death? Death sounded nice, it was better than falling apart at the seams. Still, Alex kept silent as Logan tried to save him. Did he want to be saved..?
The mayor and Logan had a heated argument until the mayor backed off, nodding and most of the townsfolk left. Logan oaised before walking to Alex silently
