The Prophecy:
Two souls,
One in the living,
One restless,
Shall conspire and meet,
And shall win the war, however discreet.
One with the aspect of life,
The other with death.
Combined, they could be peace-bringing…
Or destructive.
Two best friends were children when one of them was diagnosed with Leukemia. They spent all of their childhood with each other, and they were next-door neighbors. At age 7, the friend diagnosed with cancer dies in their sleep.
Ten Years Later
High school has started, and the still-living friend moved to a new place, changing schools, losing their contact with their previous friends. One day, something happens in their dreams, and their friend from a decade ago-now aged to look like a teenager-appears, and it turns out…ghosts really do exist.
