Elk wars: new blood

"I'm fine.. hey Naru can you help your mom get me a pair of tweezers" Silver said

"can you go get me an old bowl" he said having her be his little helper

"She's gonna grow up to be just like her momma caring, loveable, and compassionate" he joked running his hand through Hiro's fur
"Can I do anything dad?" Zero asked
"Yeah go get into the first aid box and get me some bandages" Silver replied

"thanks kiddo" Silver said and put the tweezers into the shrapnel wounds and pulled the shrapnel out then put it all into the bowl causing him to bleed quite a bit
Zero came with the bandages "Naru help me wrap dads arm up here hold this" he said handing her the one of the ends

Silver rubbed Naru's back "thanks for making daddy feel all better" he said in a caring fatherly tone
"All done" Zero said letting the loose fitting bandage go

Silver put his arms around both Naru and Zero "You both did a good job being brave and strong tonight especially you Naru… One day you'll grow up to be as strong as you're mother once was" he said and about that time Zero's smiled feeling accomplished wrapped his arms around his father
(That's a wholesome picture to imagine)

Silver stood up or at least attempted to before falling backwards because Hiro was laying across his legs
(I think that's how she was)

"point taken but…. I gotta finish your body play with the kids" Silver said

Silver went into their bedroom to continue his work

By now Silver had her head except the memory and torso completed and was now working on her right arm

Silver came to bed an hour later once he completed both of her arms and attached them to the body

Silver laid down next to her eventually falling asleep

(The next day in the late morning)
"Dad wake up it's almost noon" Zero said shaking his dad's arm

Silver eventually woke up on his own but flinched at the pain in his shoulder when he tried sitting up
