Ethan scratched Jax's head. "Where's your owner hmm?" He mused. He looked around the apartment but didn't find him. Jax was home and calm enough so it must mean that he hadn't left. He saw the window open to the fire escape. He climbed out, wincing. He climbed up the stairs, letting out a relieved sigh as he saw Raz. He sat down next to him quietly.

Raz continued to draw when Ethan sat beside him. He had pulled out his headphone that were now connected to his phone to show that he was listening. After a few moments of silence he set the notebook down and looked off into the distance "what did you mean this was a mistake?" He asked softly
"Not you. Never you. It was just my broke up thoughts coming out at the wrong time." Ethan sighed and looked out at the city, unconsciously rubbing at his chest. "This situation is a mistake. We wouldn't be like this if I hadn't fucked up somewhere. But I swear to you I'm going to right it. And I promise nothing like this will happen again. I promise that I will protect you."
Raz nodded and leaned his head on Ethan's shoulder "this isn't your fault love." he glanced up at him and gently stroked the hair at the nape of his neck. "You've always protected me, you never once haven't. I would never be able to forgive myself if something happened to you Eth, please don't hurt yourself looking for whoever did this." he begged, looking up at him pleadingly
Ethan looked down at him and stroke his hair. "You know I cant promise that my love. What I do…its dangerous. I can be as careful as I can but I cant promise you i wont get hurt."
"I know," he whispered, nuzzling into Ethan. "just…please don't…don't….die." he shut his eyes and pressed close to him "come back to me alive, my devil, my love, please come back to me…"
Ethan wrapped his arms around him, pulling him tight against him. "I always will. I could never leave you." He kissed his temple
Raz scooted into his lap and clung to Ethan, careful not to disturb Ethan's wound. "I'm sorry about this morning," he whispered, "does it feel any better?" he gently pulled down the collar of Ethan's shirt to get a look at the stitches
"No I'm sorry. I should have been more clear with you." Ethan grabbed his hands, gently pulling them away. "I'm fine my love."
He glanced up worriedly "Okay, if you say so, but please let me know if anything does bother you." He pressed a kiss to their intwined hands and stood, balancing on the edge of the roof as he grabbed his thing and hopped down
Ethan hopped off the ledge and back on to the roof. He hugged Raz from behind. "Let me make love to you." He whispered his ear
Raz leaned into him slightly and shook his head "not until this is healed," he said. "If moving around in general causes you pain, imagine what doing that will do." He pressed a tender kiss to Ethan's lips "I promise, once the would heals I'm yours."
Ethan sighed a little too dramatically. "It was worth a try." He nuzzled into his next. "Its going to take forever to heal." He grumbled.
Raz giggled at Ethan's dramatics "Patience is key my devil," he pressed a kiss to the side of his head and tugged him towards the fire-escape, clutching the notebook to his chest as he carefully made his way down the steps.
Ethan smiled and kissed his neck quickly. He followed behind him to the fire escape. He climbed down before Raz just in case. He climbed back through the window. "Lets go take a bath together my love."
Raz laughed at how odd that sounded but nodded "I'm gonna feed Jax first, go get ready and I'll meet you there." he set his notebook down and went to the kitchen to get Jax's food. jax whimpered slightly and nuzzled Raz's leg. "you poor baby, haven't been getting enough attention? Don't worry, we'll get to cuddle soon."
Ethan smiled. He kissed his cheek softly before departing to the bathroom. He started the bath and added some bubbles to it. He grabbed a change of clothes for both him and Raz
After promising Jax hours of cuddle time and rubbing his belly, raz stood and headed back tot he bedroom. "Were the bubble necessary?" he asked with a laugh and he pulled off his shirt
"I can drain the tub and fill it back again if you don't like it." Ethan raised an eyebrow at him
Raz shook his head "no love, it's fine. I was joking." He pulled off his pants, leaving him only in shorts and stood with a towel over his shoulders
Ethan chuckled. He slowly stripped out of his shirt. "Are wegonna take a bath with shorts on love?"
"I am, I don't know about you though," he stepped into the bath and closed his eyes with a content sigh whiles waiting for Ethan
Ethan kept his underwear on before stepping in the bath. He didn't want to make Raz uncomfortable. He pulled raz against his chest
Raz nudged his head up into Ethan's neck and relaxed against him "I'm was serious about before. Tell me if something is bothering you, you don't have to keep it all to yourself." he murmured
Ethan rubbed his belly softly. "I know you are baby. There are just somethings I don't want you to here. I don't…i don't want you to know some of those things. Its nothing you'd want to know."
Raz sighed and nodded "fine, you don't have to tell me everything, but if your stitches are hurting or if something bothers you in general, you can always come to me, no matter what." he kissed his jaw and snuggled into Ethan's body.
"I know can baby." Ethan tightened his grip on him. He sighed in content, his eyes fluttering close.
Raz pressed light kisses to Ethan's neck and I shoulder. He shifted slightly to get a better reach on his neck

Raz bit down gently before kissing over the spot, lips dragging over the now tender area
