Caspian couldn't help but smirk slightly at the comment, "I know. No need to tell me twice." After a decent walk, they made it to his chambers, Cas using his back to open the door. It was large, well decorated and almost seemed cozy. It was all black, navy blue and gold, dark spruce wood making the bed, desk, cabinets and anything else you could find.
Caspian walked over to the end, placing Anish down gently before walking to the wardrobe to find him some more suitable clothes.
The bed was soft, incredibly luxurious, and the room was comfortably warm. Much better than the throne room. Anish managed to prop himself up a bit, and looked around. It has a vaguely gothic horror vibe to it, however, which ruined the atmosphere considerably. "Uh… thanks. Where am I exactly?" he asked.
"Depends whether you mean the room or if you mean the actual location of said room," He walked out with a pair of long pants, socks, a long sleeved shirt with a fur jacket, handing it to Anish, "If it's the first, well these are my chambers, and if it's the second you're in my castle, located in Yeralta, my kingdom."
"Taking me to your room, you're really that desperate?" he joked. Then realized it might not be taken as a joke, but felt too embarrassed to say anything about it, simply deciding to sit in awkward silence instead.
Caspian rolled his eyes, "For starters you asked to borrow my clothes and my clothes are in my room. The only logical place to take you. And second you also asked for a more comfortable place to sit."
"I was joking. Sorry." Anish blushed, feeling thankful that most people didn't notice the blush contrasting with his darker skin and infinity freckles. "Look, you're not too terrible of a person, I'll give you that. You're almost… I dunno, soft? Kinda sweet." he said.
Cas seemed taken aback by the comment, considering that wasn't the type of person he usually was, "I.. wait you really think so?" He raised an eyebrow. He could by lying. Get him to show weakness only to take him home and force him to take him back home.
"Yeah. You remind me of Jer- my ex. Before he turned into a lying, cheating, phallocentric control freak." those memories were painful, but had to be acknowledged if he ever wanted to move on. "But you're also a bit of a narcissist with some kind of antisocial disorder. So I'm still wary, okay?"
"Makes sense," Caspian shrugged a shoulder, "I would be too," He sighed, "Look, I know you probably have a lot of questions, and I'll answer all of them in due time. First you should get changed. This place is freezing this time of the year when there's no fire on. There's a bathroom over there you can use." he nodded towards a small room off to the side.
Anish stood up, still feeling like a gelatinous blob, hobbling over to Caspian. "Okay, and what should I, like, change into?" he rummaged through one of the drawers, finding articles of clothing unlike anything in his time.
Caspian nodded to the clothes that he'd got out a few moments ago, leaning against on of the bed posts, "Those will do. If they don't fit then I can try and find something smaller if you wish."
Anish laughed to himself, for seemingly no reason. "Thanks." he said, taking the pile of cloth and closing the bathroom door. The outfit was simple, a long sleeved tunic, warm trousers, an indoor coat, along with a set of casual shoes made of leather. Yet, all of it was so different from Earthly wear. The clothes were made to be loose-fitting around Caspian, but ended up hugging his form a bit more snugly (which he preferred, either way).
He left the room, sitting back down on the bed. "What's Yeralta like, anyways? What do you do here, exactly? People seem to be a little afraid of you." he admitted.
While Anish had been changing, Caspian and taken a seat at his desk, idly looking through a few papers and signing a few documents here and there. When he came back in, he leaned back on his chair, propping his feet up onto the desk.
"Good, that's the way it should be," He shrugged a shoulder then sighed, "Yeralta is just like any other kingdom on the continent. Only we aren't as… forgiving? Kind? Then the others. We know when punishment is due and dish it out, unlike the others who just sweep crimes under the rug and don't behead the people who deserve it. Everything looks gloomy in the winter but during the summer months it's actually quite pretty."
