(Waves. I noticed you online a bit ago, and, for whatever strange reason, it inspired me. It’s been hectic for a while, but I’m… somewhat situated, so maybe we can resume? If not, that’s alright. But, there’s no rush. My schedule is a bit weird, just for different reasons than before, lol)

Talminia woke to soft chanting. Her eyes slowly opened to the sight of one of the clergy saying some last minute prayers over her supplies. She watched silently, taking her time to wake up.

After about ten minutes, the clergyman bowed his head, finishing his prayer, then stood and turned to her. He smiled and bowed.

“Blessed morning, Sister. It is time to get you up, so we can finish preparing you for your journey,”he said softly.

Talminia nodded, then sat up. She said a quick morning prayer, the priest listening patiently. He then helped her find some traveling clothes, then blessed her repeatedly. They then walked together to the modest kitchen, where she would have her last meal in the church, and in the city, for a long while. As she ate, Talminia awaited the arrival of her traveling companion, the questionable Tsuniak.

( YES I WOULD LOVE TO CONTINUE THIS RP. This is really one of my favorite roleplays I've ever been a part of, so yeah, definitely we can resume)

Tsuniak woke up abruptly, exhausted from staying up all night training with his rapier, in his usual place. A wooden bunk bed in the barracks that seemed a clone of all the other hundred beds that filled the tent. But today was different. It wasn't like all the other days where he was stuck in training, where he was 'just another knight'. No tedious chores made to keep him busy. Nobody could ignore him today. Today, he was the Knight chosen by the gods. Though all these thoughts rushed to his head, Tsuniak couldn't smile. The images in his head filled him with pride, but they did not fill him with joy, but dread. He wasn't just another knight. He was a knight that was destined the fate of the world. Not an easy thought to wake up to.

Queasy from overthinking, and lack of sleep, Tsuniak rolled himself off his bunk and picked up the large satchel he had placed next to his bed the night before. It was about the size of his torso, and packed to the brim. He hoped it was enough to last them at least until they reached another town or village. He had packed food and drink, as well as weapons. Some of the weapons were his specialty, while others, he was no so gifted with. If it was between death and knocking an arrow… Tsuniak thought they'd be good as dead. Tsuniak smiled a bit at his own mental quip, and creeped out of the silent bunker. The sun was peeking over the horizon, he had woken up long before the rest of the camp, but he assumed the priestess was already awake and waiting. From what he's heard, the clergy wakes up… TOO early. He made his way to the chapel, cautious not to think too far ahead in the journey, lest he make himself panic. Facing the chapel for the second time in two days, not something he did often, he inhaled deeply, opened the heavy doors and stepped inside once again.

(Lol! Cool, thumbs-up!)

The clergy had prepared a sort of holy feast in honor of their journey. Though, none of the clergy would eat until Talminia and Tsuniak both had their fill, even after Talminia’s repeated insistence that they eat.

So, Talminia had first claim on all of the food. There was quite a variety of meats, vegetables, fruits, and sacred desserts. It was a genuine feast, but there was a sense of modesty to it. Everything was neatly placed in bowls and on platters on a few of the kitchen counters, which left plenty of room on the empty tables for all of the clergy to eat at their leisure, whether separately or at the same time.

Talminia filled her plate with what she wanted, but avoided piling food on it. She was a lady and a priestess, after all. Then, after sitting down and saying a prayer of thanks, she began to eat.

Meanwhile, a few members of the clergy waited at the front doors for Tsuniak’s arrival. They bowed in greeting, then beckoned him to follow them to the kitchen for his own part in the feast. As they walked, the clergy chanted quiet blessings and prayers for Tsuniak, as the one priest had done for Talminia when she’d woken up.

As soon as Tsuniak stepped in, he was greeted by two clergymen. He wasn't sure if they were one of the same as yesterday, though he didn't care much, then a few more joined and began to lead him to a large hall, while chanting strange hymns. He payed them no mind. There he found a large table full of all the foods he could ever dream of. Meats and breads covered one side of the table, while the other was draped with bunches and vines of fruit, the smell of mysterious yet delicious desserts filled his nose. Had it been any other day, Tsuniak would have piled his plate high and ravenously devoured half of the table, given that knights aren't usually allowed such luxuries, but today was harrowing upon his mind. He filled his plate with enthusiasm still, but that's as much as it could be described. He was not as ecstatic as he expected to have been around this time yesterday. His small smile seemed almost uncharacteristic of his big temper. He looked over at Talminia, and gave her a small nod in acknowledgement and greeting. That was about as polite as Tsuniak could get, so to him, it was a sort of a peace treatise. "We'll be travelling together for the foreseeable future. Let's not be enemies at the very least." He then sat and began to eat slowly, savoring each bite as if it were his last. Because it very well could be.

(Hey, sorry for disappearing from this for so long. Even though I hate to, I’m just going to drop this. I love everything about this, and it does truly pain me to let it go, but I’ve been struggling with my character so much. I just don’t know what to do with Talminia and my mind is completely blanking. So yeah)

(This is so ironic because I have not been on here since… a while. But yeah, 100% it's totally fine.)
