Cleo stumbled through the underbrush stopping abruptly when she saw the source of the silver shine. She advanced slowly and quietly being careful not to startle the creature, "Aren't you gorgeous." She breathed reaching out her hand, it's eye's seemed to shift between the colors of the rainbow and it's horn glinted in the light of the rising sun. She had heard stories about Unicorns , she just never expected them to be so mesmerizing.

Falhorn took a half-step back, acting as if he was a nervous wild animal. He needed to fool this maiden into letting him put his head on her lap; when he did, he would be able to steal her away.

@Relsey-TheElder

"Hey, steady It's alright I don't want to hurt you, if anything I'm sure you could hurt me more then I could you with that horn of your's." She took a step forward, then another, then sat right at the base of a tree, just to watch, she didn't need to touch it if it didn't want to be petted then she shouldn't pet it, she concluded.

group

Falhorn snorted. This maiden had no idea just how dangerous his horn was. He took a step forward, then a second one, and continued until he was next to the girl. Slowly, he got down on his knees, resting his head on her lap. Success. His victory was nearly guaranteed now.

Cleo froze when she felt the soft fur hit her lap, she looked down and the creature hardly breathing, then she quickly stood up, and backed away, "Oh no, wild animal's don't just come up to you and put their head in your lap, I'm not stupid." She started backing away the way she came, "Nope, where's the path, not today, not today."

Had this girl never heard of unicorns before?! Falhorn cursed to himself. The legends his kind had spread said that unicorns put their heads on the laps of maidens, did they not? Sighing internally, he charged, only needing to nick this girl for his paralysis poison to kick in.

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo yelped as the horn nicked her skin, then the poison took effect, first her legs went limp so she dropped to ht e ground and pulled herself forward with her arms till she lost control of those too. Stupid unicorn, she thought, Stupid me for leaving the stupid path.

group

Falhorn had followed behind her lazily, snorting occasionally. Finally, when she stopped dragging herself away, he moved to stand to where she could see him. He loved to see the panic in their eyes when he transformed. He glowed slightly, form shifting as he went into his human form to be better able to carry this maiden home.

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo's eye's grew wide when she saw the horse be replaced be a well dressed, Quite attractive, silver haired man, then her gaze grew steely and hard, How Dare! she mentally screamed at the gentleman, How dare you come into my nice morning run and interrupt it with your glowing magicalness because I was in a good mood and you ruined it!

group

Falhorn bent down and lazily picked Cleo up, starting to carry her deeper into the woods bridal style. Still, there was nothing truly romantic about how he carried her. He hummed an extremely old folk tune as he walked, glancing down at his catch every so often.

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo continued a steady stream of insults directed at the unicorn man as he carried deeper into the forest. She screamed at her muscles to move, twitch, to feel, anything but hang limp. If I had feeling in my limbs, you would so be going down! Who even uses poison, that's cheating!

group

Eventually, they reached what appeared to be a vine-covered wall. Shifting Cleo to one arm, Falhorn reached a hand out and touched it. With a flash of magic, the vines started to part. Falhorn carried Cleo inside, the vines immediately closing and plunging them into darkness. Then, Falhorn's hair glowed slightly as he walked.

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo rolled her eye's, "Great you're a glow stick." The sound of her own voice startled her slightly, she could talk again, "Oh how lovely now I can insult your brains out of your pretty little scull, First of all-." And the steady stream of insults continued growing both in creativity and volume .

group

Falhorn ignored Cleo at first, but as he walked deeper into the cave he grew more and more agitated. "Oh, would you shut up!" He bellowed. He stopped, putting Cleo down roughly against the wall of the cave. He clasped her hands and feet in the chains attached to the wall.

@Relsey-TheElder

"No, No I will not shut up, You're the one that kidnapped me, you have to deal with me now!" She snapped back, the feeling in her arms and legs was returning and she used the returning strength to struggle against the chains. "You're a unicorn aren't your kind supposed to be beautiful creatures and symbols of all good things in this world?"

group

Falhorn knelt down in front of her, a sparkle in his eyes.
"Aren't I that, though?" He felt a pang of hunger. He would need to feed soon, before he was too hungry and accidentally drained her of all her life force. He paused a moment, then pressed his lips to hers, stealing a fraction of her life force, before pulling away.
(Also, just noting this, he'll be able to kiss without stealing life force.)

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo froze for a second when his lips touched her's, then she felt as if she lost something As if she were being drained, she pulled her self back breaking away from his kiss, "Who the heck do you think you Are! Just what did you just do to me!" She struggled to contain the blush creeping across her skin.

group

"Nothing too serious," Falhorn said, stepping away from her. Moved about the cave, his hair the only source of light for a moment. Then, he an old fashion lantern, bathing the small end of the cave in a warm light. The cave itself was sparsely decorated, with a wooden chair and a soft-looking bed in the corner. Other than that, there was straw strewn about, and a small, old fashioned wood-burning oven.
"I simply… had a little snack."

@Relsey-TheElder

"Snack, so that's it I'm your food , great. Nice to know I'm a walking refrigerator." She mumbled, what ever he had taken from her made her drowsy, "You really need to decorate better, this looks awful." she mumbled studying the chains around her wrists for weaknesses.

group

Falhorn sat down on his chair. It looked comfortable, for being made out of wood. Much more comfortable than sitting on straw and being chained to the wall.
"If that's how you wish to think of yourself, then so be it." Falhorn waved his hand dismissively.
"And I don't spend much time here. Why should I care what it looks like when I rarely get visitors?"

@Relsey-TheElder

"Maybe because I'll taste better if I'm happy, I'm sure that happy people taste better, And if it looked nicer may be I wouldn't try to escape, I might feel bad for breaking things on my way out the vines." She snapped.

group

"Happiness has nothing to do with taste. And you won't be reaching the vines. Even if you got out of your chains, which is highly unlikely seeing that you are human, my cave isn't simply a tunnel. It's simply on part of a much larger system. You'd die of starvation before you found an exit. Of course, the vines are the only way out, thanks to me, and only my magic can move them." Falhorn crossed his legs, looking down at Cleo.
"Though by all means, try to escape. I like fast food." He chuckled, looking at Cleo's clothes.

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo, suddenly felt extremely self conscious, "I'm a distance runner not a sprinter." She said defiantly, "At least I don't look like I time traveled from the 17th century." She countered

group

"Eighteenth-century darling, I'm not that old." Falhorn was slightly miffed. He pulled his chair closer to Cleo, and he looked into her eyes. His eyes were mesmerizing, the color changing every so often.

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo stared right back, His eye's were shifting pools of color, never staying the same for too long, they were mesmerizing. Here's were lifeless in comparison, colorless and dull. She should look away, this man had just kidnapped her, he was clearly evil, but she couldn't help but stare back into his rainbow eye's.

group

Falhorn smirked when he confirmed that he had Cleo mesmerized with his eyes. It wasn't hypnotism, but it had around the same effect to a lesser degree.
"So," he purred, almost flirtatious, "What's your name?"

@Relsey-TheElder

"Well I could tell you…" she said with a similar tone of voice, "But is seems a little unfair that You know my name I don't know yours doesn't it." She replied twisting a strand of hair around her fingers.

group

"If I tell you mine, will you tell me yours? Seeing as we'll be spending a lot of time together." Falhorn gave a brilliant smile, leaning forward towards Cleo. He almost seemed nice, in that position and with that smile. Like he really was like the unicorns Cleo had heard of.

@Relsey-TheElder

Cleo raised an eyebrow and grinned, "Well that does sound like a deal doesn't it, however there's no guarantee you'll keep up your end once I've reveled my name." She leaned towards him, "I can't lose my one bargaining chip like that."

group

Falhorn chuckled.
"Bargaining chip? What do you mean by that? I don't need to know your name. Girl would suffice just as well." He smirked, patting Cleo's head.
