Reagan swallowed anxiously. "I…uhm…don't think that worked."
Futuristic little red riding hood (O/O)
“Nope, it definitely didn’t,” Elissa panicked. She laughed nervously. “Okay, looks like we’re going the other way.”
Reagan wrung their hands anxiously, chewing on their lip.
Elissa glanced at Reagan before turning the corner and heading in the other direction toward the unknown. Hopefully they’d find a way out.
Reagan followed her quietly, looking anxious.
Elissa hurried down the hall at a pace between a run and a slow jog, glancing around every corner nervously. She froze as she heard approaching footsteps.
(should I have someone catch them now?)
Reagan's eyes were so wide it was almost terrifying, and they had their hands gripped to each other.
(sure)
Elissa hefted her bed leg, readying herself for a fight.
(alright!)
An unfamiliar person came around the corner, eyes narrowing at the sight of Reagan and Elissa. "The hell is going on here?" he said, immediately getting ready for a fight.
Elissa ran toward him, feinting right with the club but switching at the last minute and swinging towards the man’s neck.
The man dodged, glaring at her as he started to fight. He was bigger than Elissa, and more experienced too.
Elissa tried to use her smaller size to her advantage, staying low and aiming a sweeping kick at the man in hopes to knock him off his feet or at least unbalance him.
The man didn't fall for it, coming for her again without a pause in his stride.
Elissa sighed quickly in frustration before waiting for him to come to her. If she let him make the first move, maybe she could figure out his fighting style.
He did come to her, reaching out to get her.
Elissa ducked out of his grasp at the last minute, his hands barely missing her hair. She ducked underneath his arm and tried to give him a good hit to the back with the bed leg.
He grunted as the leg hit his back, and whirled around.
Elissa straightened, stance defensive. She was beginning to feel a bit more confident.
He looked at her for a moment, then his eyes flickered to Reagan.
Elissa followed his gaze, and instinctively moved between the man and Reagan, because defending them would be a lot harder than just trying to not to lose the fight herself.
The man smirked a little bit, and ducked to one side.
Elissa tried not to give away how much that irked her as she turned, though it was written across her face.
He managed to grab ahold of Reagan's arm, dragging them to him and putting a warning hand around their throat. Reagan stared at Elissa with wide, frightened eyes.
Elissa watched helplessly, racking her mind for a way to get Reagan away from the man. “Let them go,” she hissed, trying to stall while she figured out a plan.
The man's grip only tightened.
Elissa’s eyes darted around like a trapped animal’s as she went through some ideas in her head. She had to find a way to get his hands off of Reagan.
Reagan was standing stock-still with wide, frightened eyes, staring at Elissa in a panicked manner.
