Melody glanced at the clock and nodded. “Yeha I didn’t realize the time,” she said looking almost disappointed. “I have to go find my uncle and say goodbye before the ship sets off.”

"I'll see you later, then," Mivasis said with a small smile. She rose from her seat and straightened out her dress. She was ready to change out of the outfit; she wasn't very fond of dressing up. Her makeup made her feel masked, as did her dress. "It was nice to meet you!" Mivasis left from the room, leaving her bracelet behind on the table.
“It was nice meeting you too,” she said before Mivasis left. She stood up after and said goodbye to her Uncle it before he left. She then went and helped clean the table even though it was technically her night off. She finally saw Mivasis’ bracelet.
Mivasis' parents followed her back to their room and locked her in for the night. She protested at first, saying, "where could I possibly run off to on a ship?" but it was no use. So she changed out of her dress and washed off her makeup. As she lay in her bed to sleep, she noticed the missing weight from her right arm.
Melody slipped the bracelet in her pocket planning on bringing it back to her the next day. She cleaned up and was exhausted by the time she made it below deck to her room. She shared it with another staff member. She wished she got Mivasis' number.
When Mivasis finally drifted off to sleep, her dreams consisted of the same music that had played at the dinner and… Melody. She woke early in the morning to the shifting of the boat on the water, and although she could barely remember the details of the dream, the girl was clear in her mind. Mivasis ran a hand across her tired face and sat straight with a yawn.
Melody woke up early the next morning. She got straight to work. First cleaning the whole dining area before breakfast. She had Mivasis' bracelet in her pocket planning on trying to find her at a more reasonable time.
Mivasis unwillingly followed her parents from her room, not bothering to put on any makeup or even shower. She'd do that later, because she had plans to sneak off to the pool sometime. Though she considered going back to the dining hall to check for her bracelet once she finished her breakfast.
The main dining area is a buffet all day long. Right now it was serving breakfast. Melody was cleaning up tables as passengers ate and left. She was hoping to see Mivasis.
As she ate her food in the dining hall next to her mother, Mivasis constantly glanced around the dining room for Melody's familiar face.
"Mum," she said, raising her voice a bit higher than usual to make herself heard over the loud chatter. "I'm going to search for a friend." Her mother, still quite tired, nodded and Mivasis rose. She looked around the room, and her eyes landed on the girl.
Melody was cleaning off a table. Her mind drifted to Mivasis but she didn't spot the other girl yet. She wasn't quite sure why but she was really excited to find her. She wiped down the table back to Mivasis.
"Hey," Mivasis called out, still focused on Melody. She rushed over to her, eager to leave her parents. "Good morning." She beamed.
Melody looked up at Mivasis. Her smile widened. "Morning," She said. "Oh you forgot this by the way." She took out the bracelet.
"Ohmygosh," Mivasis sighed and took the bracelet. "Thank you so much. I can be so oblivious sometimes." Mivasis grinned, a bit embarrassed.
Melody laughed slightly and shrugged. "No problem," she said.
Mivasis closed the clasp around her wrist and made a note to remember to not take it off. "Oh, you guys do have a pool on this ship, right?" she asked hopefully. "You should join me, if you get any breaks or something."
Melody nodded "Yeah it's actually close to here," She said smiling. "I get a break around noon if you really want me too."
"That would be awesome," Mivasis said. "I'm sure the ship can get boring sometimes."
“Yeah it can but I’m usually pretty busy. And we should be docking in the morning at our first stop,” she said. (Hey btw what country should they stop at? I was thinking Italy but that’s only because that’s the only country I’ve been to irl)

Mivasis clapped her hands together. "Oh, really!? I'm not good at keeping up with the itinerary. Yay!"
Melody smiled wide. “Good thing you met me then. I have almost everything memorized,” she said leaning on the table slightly.
Mivasis laughed quietly. "So where are we going, then? Anything you think I should go see?"
(Also it sol gag you don’t know much I went like 4 years ago and barely remember a thing so I’m winging it) “Venice is our first Stop. The whole thing is a must see to be honest. It’s fun to just get lost. I’ve been there three times and still find new things each time. There’s really nice gelato places and the gondola rides are awesome,” she started to ramble smiling wider.
