Alex was about to say something else when a guy poked his head in the room. “I thought I heard your voice, Alex. Guess I was right.” He automatically figured out what was going on and his tone got a bit more menacing “what’s going on?”
“O-oh I’m just visiting my friend here. H-he got shot.” Alex explained quietly, quickly letting go of Landyn. Alex was obviously scared.

Landyn looked at Alex then to the other man. 'Friend?' he though

“Sorry didn’t mean to intrude!” This guy was back to sounding unthreatening after just a second. “Um Alex could I talk with you for a second?”
“Y-Yeah n-no problem.” He looked at Landyn “I’ll be right back”

The guy’s air of friendliness instantly disappeared as soon as he was alone with Alex “what the hell do you think you’re doing?” His voice was deadly soft.
“L-Like I said my friend got shot a-and I wanted to make sure he was okay” Alex stared at the ground in fear.
“How stupid do you think I am, Alex?!”
He flinched “i-i-it’s not like that….”

Landyn secretly stayed close. 'this must be his ex…If you hurt him again.' He manages to not growl.

“First you disappear, and now this?! Why do I even put up with you at this point. I go through so much for you and this is how you repay me?!” He was getting angry now

That made Landyn so pissed that he gets up and slaps the living hell out of him. "No one slaps Alex. I may be hurt but I can still beat the living shit out of you." He pushes him back ignoring the pain. "Understand me."

“Stay the hell out of this” The guy growled.
Alex had a completely blank look in his eyes, a hand on his cheek where he’d been hit.

Landyn stands his ground staring at him. "IM NOT THE ONE HITTING PEOPLE JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO HAVE A BETTER SOCIAL LIIFE." He sighs. "If you don't want me to yell for the nurses to come pick up a unconscious and bloody person, I'd suggest you go."

The guy was about to yell something in response when a nurse walked in. “Sir I’m going to have to ask you to leave.”
He looked at the two of them “this isn’t over” he growled but left

"I believe it is," Landyn growls back. When he leaves he holds his shoulder. He turns around and places a hand on Alex's cheek. "I-I'm sorry…"

Alex flinched away, he just couldn’t be touched right now, he was too stressed out.
