Personality: Alison used to be a carefree girl, without a worry in the world. But when she met [insert name of abuser], her whole life changed. Her life revolved around them, and she started keeping secrets. Just a little lie every now and then. "Oh, [Insert name] just lost their temper. They're fine now." "Oh that? I tripped on a flight of stairs. No big deal." Soon, she was lying every day, and withdrew from her friends. She blamed [insert name]'s violent side on their temper, unwilling to see the whole picture. Eventually, she began to see the picture, bit by bit. First it was the realization that they were doing this to her on purpose. They didn't care about her feelings. Then it was the realization that they didn't want to care for her, they were just using her. She withdrew her real personality and started putting on a mask. She was strong, she was confident, didn't care about them, and needed no-one. Even now, in her ghost state she still wears her mask, and runs away when the mask is torn down.
Talents and hobbies: She "knits." It isn't the way one might teach another, or how a book might teach you. She taught herself an easier version, one that she could do without thinking about it, something to keep her busy, to ward the bad memories away.
Role: ghost
Cause of death (if ghost): At first, she tried to fight back, but always breaking into tears and begging forgiveness, earning her several bruises that healed eventually, but they did more damage than it seemed. During her attempt to run away, she jumped into a lake, and coincidentally, she couldn't swim, and it didn't help that the water was cold and she went into shock. Or the fact that she accidentally breathed in a bunch of lake water. Long story short, Alison drowned.
