"Really? You know you can always work for me?" he smirked ordering something a little stronger.

"I have a job," She said, glancing over at him and taking a drag. "It's just a crappy one."
"Exactly so why don't you come work at my company? Do you like the job you work at?" their eyes met for a split second then lost connection.
"I like it, but the pay sucks," Stella admitted. "What's your company?"
"Apple," he said twirling his drink watching the water go around the cup.
"Apple," She raised an eyebrow, a little bit intrigued now. "What is your…position in this company?"
"CEO."
She raised another eyebrow, not sure if he was lying or not. "Don't take this as offense, but…I don't really believe you. Why would you be out smoking and drinking on a rainy night, if you were the CEO of Apple?"
"How about you come tomorrow? I could show you around? Oh, and because it's a habit." he chuckled taking a sip.
"And I'm sure the public thinks well of your habits," She mumbled, setting down her cigarette for a moment. "Why have I never heard of you?"
"Because everything that happened with me I make sure to not get it published. I usually work from home anyway I rarely go to the company." he laughed.
She rolled her eyes a little, starting to warm up to this guy. "Interesting. How did you get this job, exactly?"
"Worked my way up from the bottom. We could go there now if you'd like I promise everyone will know who I am," he smirked.
"Yeah, whatever. Maybe tomorrow," She promised, taking a drag and spinning around a little on her stool.
(I forgot I was on this one XD)
"It's a date then!" he really felt for this girl. Even though she had issues of her own something about her made him want her as something more than just a one night stand.
(also sorry about the other one, I wanted to let some other peeps do it and now I feel bad for rejecting you vybjnuyft)
"Ah, where did I turn?" Stella dramatically sighed. "First I'm smoking in a dingy apartment, and now I have date plans for the CEO of Apple."
(Nah es all good)
"What's so bad about that?" he tilted his head finishing his drink.
(alright phew)
"Nothing," She said, glancing up at him. "But it's quite the dramatic switch."
(XD)
"Oh? How so?" he moved the hair out of her face and smiled.
"I went to being my normal, trashy self, to taking a drink with the CEO of Apple." She shrugged, allowing a small smile in return. "Doesn't happen every day."
"Well, no but the good thing is, is that it did happen," the bartender gave him some water, "Thank you."
"True." She tilted her head. "I don't want to call it a miracle, but…something like that."
He smiled to himself, "Yeah…something like that. Anyway, how come you work at a nail salon?"
She shrugged. "I like nails. They were hiring, and I needed a job. Plus, there's sometimes free bottles of polish and stuff they give out."
He chuckled, "I like you, you know that?"
"I was made aware of the fact," She responded, raising her eyebrows and taking another drag. "Yeah, I know."
"Good. Keep that in your mind okay?" He poked her head and stood up, "I should get going I have a meeting in a couple of mintues. Nice seeing you sweetheart," he winked and kissed her hand.
Stella watched him go with a bit of a dreamy expression on her face, before standing, paying the bartender, and walking out of the bar towards home. It had begun to drizzle, and she threw away her cigarette in a trash can again.
When Nick woke up in the morning he stretched and texted Stella Hey, you up yet? he got up and started to make breakfast.
Stella looked over at her phone as it buzzed, picking it up and replying. She couldn't help but smile to himself as she saw who it was from. Of course I'm up.
