"I…I don't know," She answered, brows furrowing. "But…it's not from your memories, I don't think. It's…something else. But I can't tell what."

@gracehustle

Callin reached out to touch her shoulder, not quite believing her when she said it probably wasn't from his memories.

She clutched her head, trying to focus on clearing her mind. Slowly, her eyes began to clear and return to their normal green and grey.

@gracehustle

“You better?” He asked, pulling his hand away from her shoulder and relaxing slightly.

"Yeah, yeah I'm good," She slowly stood up, using a chair as a holding handle. "I don't know what that was."

@gracehustle

Callin stood up as well, ready to do his best to help her if he need it, "I bet it was from my memories…maybe i just should've kept them to myself.."

She shook her head. "No, it wasn't that. I swear." She looked at her hands, turning them over and over to see what was wrong. "I don't know what it was, but it wasn't because of your memories."

@gracehustle

He went silent, obviously not believing her but also not saying anything.

"I…I need to go see Destiny," She said, talking about her friend with mind powers. "She'll know what's wrong. At least, I hope she will."

@gracehustle

"Ok…do you want me to come with?" He asked, looking at her before his eyes flicked to the ground as he went back into his thoughts.

She reached for his hand, intertwining her fingers with his. "Yeah, I would really like that." She didn't think he knew, but he meant a lot to her.

@gracehustle

Callin nodded in response, squeezing her hand lightly, "Ok." He didn't look up aga at her, still in his mind and memories.

She looked at him, knowing that he was currently blaming himself for what happened. She dropped his hand and wrapped her arms around his neck.

@gracehustle

He just sighed through his nose, closing his eyes and standing there motionless.

A flash of glow happened in her eyes, so she let go. She tried not to show him what was happening as they left the apartment and started towards Destiny's home.

@gracehustle

As they walked, he slowly started looking around more, staying silent, but looking around. He was still blaming himself for what happened to Nat.

Nat knocked on the door of Destiny's home when they reached it, stepping back besides Callin in case she didn't come. "Coming!" She heard yelled, and an Indian woman opened the door. "Oh! Leigh! And Callin!"

@gracehustle

He offered a small and slightly awkward smile, "Hi," He said, keeping next to Nat .

"Come in! Come in!" Destiny said cheerily. "Tea?" She asked as she poured herself some Indian tea. When they didn't respond quick enough, she sat down on a couch, gesturing for them to do the same.

@gracehustle

Callin sat down on the couch somewhat timidly, his hands tucked in his lap so he would take up as little room as possible.

"So, what's the reason for this visit?"
"Can we not just visit our friend?"
"I know you better hun. Tell me what's up."

@gracehustle

Like always, he stayed silent, eyes darting around the floor and occasionally up at either of the others.

"Fine. Callin and I were showing each other our memories, of the stuff that happened to us. I showed him mine and then searched in his. It was when I was looking in his that something happened."
"Can you tell me what happened, Callin?"

@gracehustle

"Hm?" He looked up, surprised he was actually being talked to, "I suppose…when she was going through my memories, her eyes started to glow like normal, then something happened and she had to pull away, she seemed to be in pain…" He trailed off, biting his lip.

She listened to what he was saying. "Ok…well that doesn't seem like it's your fault," Destiny said, trying to make lift of the situation. "Do you think it's your fault?"

@gracehustle

He didn't answer, his gaze flicking back to the floor silently. It was obvious he still did and was blaming himself over and over.

Destiny watched him. "It seems you do." She took Nat's hand and closed her eyes, using her own magic to decipher what happened. She then opened her eyes, knowing what was wrong.

@gracehustle

Callin watched them, both in worry and in hope that Destiny would find out what was wrong.

"I know what happened. It wasn't your fault Callin. At least, not exactly."
"What do you mean, not exactly?"

@gracehustle

"See? I shouldn't have even offered to let you go though my head." He sighed and went to his silence.
