Character Name - Hazel Reynes
Gender/Pronouns? - Female
Age - early to mid 20s?
Which Kingdom are they from? - Terraglade
Height/Weight - 5’6”, average build
Any important features? (Scars, Injuries, etc.) - she has a scar on her left knee from when she fell out of a tree as a kid
Background - Hazel was raised by her parents; her mother was a scholar and her father was a gardener. When she was a young teen and her sister was only 4, their mother supposedly discovered something about the Greatblaze. Hazel doesn’t remember much about the incident, only that her mother vanished shortly after.
The other scholars and leadership of Terraglade didn’t seem to care much about her discovery (whatever that was) and glossed over the whole incident. They claimed she just fell off the edge.
Hazel always felt like something was going on, but her father prompted her to leave it alone.
She let it go for a while, focusing on gardening and taking care of her sister Willow. But years later, she still can’t let it go completely.
Opinions of the Kingdoms? -
Terraglade? - Hazel loves her kingdom; she loves the plants and their way of life. She feels safe there, for the most part. However, she feels like there is more to her mother’s disappearance than they are letting on.
Her opinions of the other kingdoms are basically what her mother has told her, which wasn’t much. Scholarship was never Hazel’s strong suit, so she took her mother at her word.

Background - (TW) She has an abusive father, and her mother left when she was little. A lot of her trust issues and self esteem issues come from her family situation. She runs away from home in her original story, and that’s how I’m planning on introducing her.
Opinions of the Kingdoms? -
- Terraglade? - her home Kingdom, she doesn’t have much of an opinion. It’s a fine Kingdom, she just hasn’t had many good experiences there due to her family situation.
- Cascove? - she doesn’t necessarily trust people from Cascove. (or any other kingdom, really. Trust issues.) The Kingdom itself freaks her out a bit.
- Marbrick? - She’s scared of them. Enough said. She would be terrified to meet someone from Marbrick.
- Austream? - She dislikes/distrusts this kingdom the least. She sees them as reckless, yes, but it’s better than Cascove and Marbrick.

Any important features? (Scars, Injuries, etc.) - moderate scarring just about everywhere, mostly lacerations on his face, torso, and arms, although on his hands there are a few abrasions from punching things he shouldn’t have- also a large gash on his right leg
Background - He was very excitable and chaotic during most of his childhood and some of his young adulthood. He liked racing and physical activity in general, and it was usually what he used to cope with emotions and stress. During a race, there was an incident in which a child had died. A lot of people blamed him for this, and were generally angry with him, so he ran away and isolated himself from society. After a few years in isolation, he tried to kill himself by jumping off a cliff. No one knows how he survived the fall, and he prefers not to talk about it. He ventures out every so often, but he rarely speaks to anyone.
Opinions of the Kingdoms? -
- Terraglade? - No opinions, they keep themselves out of trouble. Smart of them.
- Cascove? - No opinions.
- Marbrick? - They’re a little too aggressive for his liking, other than that, no opinions.
- Austream? - They’re reckless. Not the best leadership, but the kingdom hasn’t fallen yet.

Background (TW)- Parents were killed at an early age, adopted by a well-off family in Marbrick. He learned about the Greatblaze, but never took an interest. That was in the past, and it’s the present now. Became skilled in combat, starting in his teen years and continuing today. He became a mercenary around 15-16, and took to it easily. He had been captured and tortured when he was 18, and rarely talks about who or what did it, or what exactly they did.
Opinions of the Kingdoms? (TW)-
- Terraglade? - Pacifists. Too scared to join conflict. Rare to find anyone from Terraglade who’s interested in violence, they’re more occupied with keeping their records and tending their plants. Not good for business.
- Cascove? - Untrustworthy due to their isolation. Mapmaking is helpful, but not knowing much about someone becomes a problem quickly.
- Marbrick? - Home kingdom. Powerful due to their mastery of weapon-smithing and self-sufficiency. They live in the present, and the better for it. Good for business and restocking supplies.
- Austream? - Their way of leading is concerning. They live in the past. Despite their recklessness, they’re good for getting around. Visiting Austream is more pleasant than some others, if you ignore certain aspects.
