yeah i'm uh. starting another roleplay. i have this plot i wanted to try out based off of the song eeeaaaooo by patricia taxxon (please do give it a listen if you haven't)- anyways plot time hahaaaaaaa

a lonely, abstract world. only one person (my character) inhabits it. they are at peace with the silence of this world they found themselves living in. suddenly… someone else (your character) shows up, and nearly disrupts that peace. the two get to know each other, and over time, they find themselves falling for one another. they get up to some wacky antics along the way, and they both just have a grand ol' time. peace returns once more.

Appearance: Extremely short, like 4'8 short. His hair is a scrambled mess of fluff, and it's dyed snow white. He's blind, so his eyes are pure blueish-white. He's skinny- like, the "sickly" kind of skinny. The paleness of his skin could also be considered "sickly." He normally wears a color-block hoodie (example), a simple pair of denim shorts, and a pair of white platform sneakers (example).
Personality: He's very shy, having been alone in this world for so long. He got used to being alone, so he finds peace in solitude. He prefers to be secluded, isolated.
Likes: vibrant colors, rainbows, literally just everything color oh my g-
Dislikes: little to nothing. the things he hates most are cockroaches and beetles.

Neru sighed, leaning the balcony of his home. "Ahh… I never thought about it before, but… this place is so peaceful," he uttered under his breath. He kept thinking about it, and he was right: this place was very peaceful, like it or not. He looked out at the vast areas surrounding his home. "Nice homes… and no money, so we don't have to pay for anything… All the luxury we Abstracts could ask for. Nothing more, nothing less. And how colorful it is too… Wow." Neru went back inside, and headed up to his room. The ceiling of his room was covered in glow-in-the-dark stars of different sizes and colors. He turned on a light he had by his bed and a shower of dotted lights covered the ceiling along with the stars. "I guess it's time for bed."

Neru didn't hear the other call out at first, but when he called out a second time, it alerted Neru. "Huh. It's nighttime now- Who's yelling like that at 3 A.M.?? They probably last track of time, since it's always sunny here. Ugh, I'll go see." Neru got up from his floating bed and dashed out the door, looking around. "Yes?? Hello???" he called out in response to the shouting, trying to get the attention of the person who was causing all the ruckus. "It's 3 A.M., could you please tone it down a smidge? We're trying to sleep here."

"You're not dreaming, bub- This is all real. You're basically stuck here. Though, it's not that bad. If you were dreaming, then all of us Abstracts must be dreaming too. But clearly that's not the case. Anyhow…" Neru walked toward the sound of Aster's voice, eventually finding Aster and heading toward him. "Welcome to Destia, home of the Abstracts." The blueish-white in is eyes sparkled in the 3 A.M. sunlight. "This a small, joyful little planet. How you got here, I'm unsure, but I think you'll like it. Now, off with you. We Abstracts need our beauty sleep. Well, at least…. some of us do. Not all of us are very beautiful, I mean… the half of us are mannequins. I'm not, but I have met a few. Not the most joyul fellas- Wait wait, no, scratch that. Go on now!" Neru ran off, heading back to his home, which happened to look like a giant red-and-white mushroom with windows and doors built into it.

Neru had already slammed the door shut by the time Aster got to his home, and he sighed. Suddenly, a high-pitched ringing noise blared throughout the little town, though the mannequin folk couldn't hear it. Neru swung his door open. "Damn it… The alarms!" Neru yelled, not noticing Aster whatsoever. Since he was blind, he couldn't really tell that Aster was even standing there. "Why are the alarms going off?! It's only 3 in the morning!" Nery said, exiting his home and shutting the door behind him. He began heading toward another house, this one shaped like an upside-down diamond. "King Melanus must know what's happening… He's usually the one who sets off those wretched things!" he exclaimed, now storming toward the diamond house at full speed.

"Mhh, you again- I'm Neru. Now go on, I thought I told you to be on your way," Neru said, pushing open the door to the King's house. With a furious tone, he shouted, "KING MELANUS! GET YOUR SORRY ASS DOWN HERE AND TURN OFF THESE DAMNED ALARMS!!" ANd down came King Melanus from his stairway, looking peachy-keen as ever. Slicked back purple hair, a black and white suit with a red tie, and a crown upon his head bedazzled with all different kinds of gems. Sapphires, rubies, etc. "Oh, well hello Neru. The alarms? Oh, dear me… I dunno who turned them on!" exclaimed Melanus, dramatically flopping back onto his couch. "Stop lying… You're the only one who can turn these things on!" Neru seemed to have a personal connection with King Melanus, because frankly, nobody else would dare talk to a king in this manner, let alone King Melanus.

King Melanus began fake-sobbing. "Agh, Neru, you're so harsh sometimes!" the King exclaimed once more, receiving an annoyed groan from Neru. "Well, enough chatter, turn them off!" Neru yelled. Melanus rushed to turn the alarms off. "There, I did it!" Melanus said, hoping Neru would stop shouting. Neru did, which calmed Melanus down. "Geez, for a 15-year-old, you're really such a badger." Neru glared at Melanus, and Melanus sweated quickly before taking that comment back. "You really oughta be professional about this, Neru. If people find out you've been treating me like this-" Melanus began before being cut off by Neru. "I know, I know. It's just… It's weird being the distant cousin of a King. And an immature one at that."
