"Guitar strings and rosy things." | One-on-One | Male/Male Romance | Closed!

( Alright. I want to try a prompt-based thing right here. So let me list some prompts first. )

1. Character 1 unexpectedly hears Character 2 playing their guitar. Char.2 doesn't play it in front of people, but gets caught by Char.1 eventually after. Their meeting blossoms into love.

2. Character 1 and Character 2 are at a music academy together, and really enjoy each other's music. They make a few songs together, play a little bit, but don't realize they love each other until the tension gets to be too much, and they have to release it.

3. Character 1 finds Character 2 pitifully strumming on a guitar. Their music sounds terrible. Char.2 admits they're new to the instrument, and Char.1 offers their help. (Char.1 would have to be good at the thing!). They both grow closer, and bam, love.

Dashan walked through the halls of Elmwood Music Academy. He had his earbuds in, and he listened to various songs that prominently featured a guitar. He strummed his 'air guitar' to the same chords, as he got into the music he heard. He began to dance, then, letting the music tune into his soul. He continued this way, down the hallway.

( Started simply before the first scenario! I hope it's good! )

Ben walked through the hallways, earbuds in, completely absorbed in the song, audiating the pitches as they played. He probably should have practiced more in the month he’d had the song. Oh well, he’d find a practice room later. He jolted back into reality just long enough to stop inches away from running into another guy lost in his music, apparently guitar. He swerved around him and continued on his way.

Dashan, who felt extra shocked, jolted an earbud out of his ear. "Erm, I'm sorry!" He called to the other. He wasn't exactly sure who the other was, and frankly, he couldn't think of who he was. He kept walking on his way, before thinking something to himself. "Wonder what he's up to." Dashan wondered to himself. He decided to keep his distance, and low-key follow the other.

Ben didn’t hear the other’s apology. He eventually stopped in front of a very punk-looking girl slouching in a doorway, and finally, he took out his earbuds. “Hi.” She rolled her eyes and went into the room, calling back, “you’re late. I’m still kicking you out at 3.”

Dashan watched the two, coversing as they were. "Is she mad at him or something?" He asked himself. He tried to stay hidden, and tried to turn his music's volume down so that he'd not be spotted too quickly.

A shuffling of sheet music can be heard, then a tenor voice. It sings for a few seconds before its interrupted by a harsh female one, an alto, who sings it again with accents. The male voice repeats. Both singers are very good. They continue like this for a while.

Dashan kind of kept creeping closer, just before he made it to the doorrway. He hid at the side of it, his ears positioned to where they could hear the music best. "Astonishing, they're not that bad..!" He marveled at them. He closed his eyes, as if the music drew him into thought, and imagined himself playing his guitar to their melody.

Eventually, Ben started the piece over. He sang the entire thing without interruption, a thoughtful, fantastical piece that you couldn’t hear the words to through the door. He let himself get into it, making dynamics in all the right places that weren’t written in.

Dashan smiled, to himself. "This is perfect, I can't just stay out here and remain silent. He's got to know I liked it." He said, as he went over to the door. He opened it, and called over to the people. "Uhh- hi!"

Both Ben’s and the girl’s head swiveled over to the door. The girl looked nothing more than annoyed, while Ben looked embarrassed.
“Uh, hi,” he replied.
The girl looked back and forth between them.
“It’s 3,” she said suggestively.
Ben stood up quickly.
“I’ll leave.”

"Did I do something? I-I was just coming to say I liked the sounds I heard from outside, I didn't hear much but it was truly magnificent!" Dashan rambled, trying to make sense of his being there. He honestly thought that his presence caused Ben to have to leave. "Look, I'm sorry, okay-?"
