Alright! Here we are, new roleplay since I'm bored and I have a new character.

(Fair warning she's powerful AF, so I'll need a roleplay partner with a character with at least the power of a demigod since that's what my new character is)

Character A (me) is a demigod with extreme forms of light/dark magic and cosmic/spatial magic, meaning she has the capability to make demiplanes or erase them, create new species, erase things from existance, remove or increase light, as well as other things. She meets Character B one day. Character B is a relatively new demigod, with powers unknown to Character A. This new demigod and Character A become fast friends.

Then, one day, the peace of the Divine Realms is disturbed. Some ancient, terrible evil awakens and shatters the heavens themselves, bringing them crashing down to the mortal plane. All of a sudden, life becomes a struggle of survival, in a new world where creatures that even the gods fear roam freely, preying upon the unwary and unprotected.

Character A and Character B are faced with a monumental decision. . . do they run away, find a new world to inhabit, somewhere an infinity away from the death and chaos? Or do they stay and fight, revealing dark secrets and darker powers that may threaten the very fabric of their minds? Only time will tell. . .

Rules!

Cursing is fine, just don't go overboard!
Be online often; I'm generally online from 2:40 PM CST to anywhere from 10:00 PM CST to 3:30 AM CST. Occassionally, I'll be on all day but that's rare except for the weekends.
Being powerful is perfectly acceptable here!
Be at least semi-literate. Punctuation at the least so I know when a sentence ends and another starts!
Be kind out of character! I'm pretty understanding when it comes to rudeness, but if I feel that it keeps happening even after I try and help you, I'm not going to roleplay with you. I understand, nowadays life is stressful but don't take it out on me please!
I don't do smut! PDA is fine, insinuations is fine - if we get to the sexy time stuff it'll be a fade to black or implied. References are perfectly fine lol, just don't be too gross.

(Lol thanks. I have a few more questions as well. What exactly is the nature of demigods in this world? Are all demigods as powerful as Rayla? My demigod characters were created as being the children of gods from real-world pantheons, so their powers are a lot more,,, worldly? I guess? And they aren’t supposed to surpass the powers of their godly parent. So if I use one of them, they would be much weaker than Rayla unless I do some revamping)

(Not all of them are as powerful as Rayla; some of them are the children of gods, some of them achieved the status of demigod. She's actually very explosion oriented [didn't put that in the page but yeah] so her magic is basically limited to making things disappear in pretty flashes of light [or darkness!]. The gods of my world are also insanely powerful and there's only, like, twelve of them, so that's why her magic is the way it is. However, she did used to be a simple dragonborn mage who knew only one spell: vaporize so yeah 😅 I'll actually be lessening her power some what so that she isn't stupidly broken. Does that answer everything?)

(21 year old who came become a volcano and can grow flowers. Has princess-y vibes with a lot of anxiety and anger underneath)
(19 year old who powers are in the domain of sleep and dreams, yet has insomnia. Strong and silent)
(19 year old who’s basically a medicine witch and can communicate with the dead. Smart but has socializing issues)

Race: demigod; Hispanic Latino

Appearance: Aviv is about 5’10 with a slender, angular frame. He has a bit of a diamond-shaped face with a brown olive complexion, with freckles splashing their skin. His hair is dark, a little long and wavy, with some of it falling into his eyes, which are striking clear blue. Dark glasses also rest around his eyes, and he tends to wear loose, comfy clothes.
Personality: Aviv is a very quiet and introverted person, though they deeply value close relationships and caring for others. As such, he’s very sincere and caring when he interacts with people. Other times, especially with strangers, they’ll appear gruff and skittish. They also tend to prefer peaceful living and quiet, not much for adventuring or questing. They like to be practical and matter-of-fact when problem solving, and has a more logical mind.
Powers: invisibility, which he can control at will. When they touch another being, he can put them to sleep. They can also make suggestions to people to get them to do certain things, a little akin to mind control but more of a sort will manipulation. Aviv is also known as a sort of Secret Keeper. You can tell them a secret or give him something precious to you, and they will always keep it safe in little mason jars that can only be opened by the people with the secret, or Aviv himself. These jars are capable of holding immaterial things, like secrets as said before, emotions, memories, dreams, desires, etc. Aviv can also use these jars to create dreams with a few key ingredients.
Hobbies: reading, slow dancing, playing the violin, messing with people while he’s invisible
Other: has insomnia. Doesn’t really like the gods, but has compassion for mortals

Rayla was walking through a small little garden realm of the Heavens, revising her spells in her book and occassionally smiling up at the purple and orange skies with a wistful look.

After a bit of this she turns a corner finds a bench to sit at, and adopts a look of concentration.

Slowly, the ends of her hair start to glow a deep purple instead of its usual bright orange color as the surrounding area seems to darken.

What was really happening was she was gathering the surrounding light into a single point above her right index finger, about the size of a pin's head. She points her finger in a vague direction and with a sort of clicking sound, she tosses the point of light.

The condensed light vaporizes about a quarter of an acre of the garden. She smiles brightly and with a twisting motion fixes the bushes, trees and grass. She leaves the scorch marks, though.

She wasn't paying attention to anything - not even sounds or things to indicate anyone was appproaching her.

Aviv was also in the gardens, lying on a bench and trying to fall asleep. He had not properly slept in about four days, and he worried that they would lose their sanity. He hoped this would be quiet and peaceful enough to maybe, just maybe finally fall asleep. Their glasses were clipped to their sweater, and he faced up to see the colorful sky. He was tired. So tired. And yet, sleep didn’t come.
Then, he noticed his view darkening. Was he finally going to sleep? Is that why the sky looked darker? But there was no lull of the senses, no loss of awareness of his surroundings. They sat up a little and looked around, in time to see a flash of light disintegrate the landscape in front of him. He jerked, only to see the land remade. Aviv looked around, and soon spotted a figure who may likely be responsible for such a stunt. They sighed, and slowly got off the bench. He couldn’t let this disturbance go unaddressed. He made his way toward Rayla.

Rayla doesn't seem to notice Aviv, as absorbed in her revisions as she was.

She was holding a pencil, writing and erasing very quickly, occassionally seeming to backtrack and revise her own revisions which seemed to be, themselves, revisions of revisions. She was humming quietly to herself while she worked.

She absently points a finger up, and launches a small light into the air, which splits into more, smaller lights. The lights move to various points in the garden - around her bench, barely missing Aviv - and stay in their places, becoming solid, reflective surfaces.

After a moment, she lets a small drop of water hit one of the lights. It turns to energy and starts bouncing between each point at extreme speeds, always barely missing Aviv.

(Think "Meggido" from the anime "That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime"; look it up if you don't know, and you'll understand)

He had his glasses on by now, though they still squinted their eyes at Rayla as he approached. They flinched each time she manipulated the light, but did not cry out or do anything else to draw attention to himself. Perhaps, at some point, she would notice him. Or not. It soon became clear that her eyes were glued to her little book.
Careful to avoid what magic she was pulling, Aviv drew up beside the girl and tapped her shoulder. “What are you doing?” They asked. There was no true curiosity in his expression, only exhaustion.

(Yeah lol; this spell she has to always pull of small scale since she's now powered down and it also nearly kills her due to exhaustion; she's kinda fixed that now)

Rayla shrieks and drops her book, the magic fizzling out.

She looks beside her and finally sees Aviv. She turns slightly red from embarassment.

"Sorry- um, I'm just revising spells and whatnot. And practicing." she says, picking up her book and standing up.

Aviv was used to that reaction to his presence, though he did feel apologetic. “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.”
They just looked her up and down, and nodded. “I can see that. Could you, perhaps, take your magical activities elsewhere? I was trying to sleep, and I’d rather not be at risk of disintegrating.”
He didn’t want to be rude, but it seemed that their tiredness took away any filter he had.
