“I’m not sure, we can just walk around until we find a place.” He replied, brushing one final kiss to her shoulder before letting her go. “Well she what we can find.” He said with a small smile, shutting his eyes again as he waited patiently for Avalin to get dressed.

@gracehustle

Avalin nodded, spinning around and pressing a soft kiss to his cheek before turning to get ready. Her outfit was just as simple as she picked one. A simple dark blue flowy skirt that fell right below her knees and a black top to match her husband, as well as a pair of simple black shoes. She hummed softly as she changed, then grabbed her brush and started to fight with brushing out her hair, sitting on the edge of the bed as she did so.

@Fenrir

Loki smiles softly and scooted closer to her, pulling her into his lap and took the brush, gently brushing out her hair. He hummed softly, gently massaging her scalp as he brushed through her hair. When done, he gave her back the brush and started to braid her hair. “Anywhere else you’d like to go? We can always save that for tomorrow if you’re tired, of course.”

@gracehustle

She opened her mouth to say she could manage as he grabbed her brush but quickly relented, closing her eyes as she let him brush through the mess of hair. "Maybe just for a short walk, but nowhere in particular," She said gently, playing with the brush as he braided her hair back, "We should most likely get some sleep before we go many places." As soon as he finished she turned and pressed another kiss to his cheek, murmuring softly, "Thank you."

@Fenrir

He nodded, stifling a yawn and gently leaning into her. He smiled at the kiss and tilted his head to capture her lips with his, cupping her cheek to draw her closer. He broke away empty and pressed their head slightly together. “I love you my queen.” He murmured, hugging her close for a moment before slowly standing and offering his hand. “Ready, love?”

@gracehustle

"I love you too my king," She whispered back, returning the hug and reluctantly breaking away. All she wanted to do was stay with him, whether they were out in the city, or just here. Avalin took his hand and stood, hugging him tightly once more before leading they way towards the door.

@Fenrir

He followed with a small smile, conjuring two cloaks, not really wanting the attention from the city just yet. He wrapped an arm around her waist as they walked to the city, seeing that many things changed since they were first there, the city more vibrant and alive than when Thanos had destroyed so many lives. He felt a twinge if guilt, knowing that many were suffering when he was, even if it felt like the universe was only against him at the time. He took a deep breath, hoping to make that right one day

@gracehustle

Avalin didn't hesitate to step closer as his arm went around her waist, taking comfort in his presence again. She was relieved to see that the city was thriving once more, but she was almost sad to know that so much had changed while she had been stuck inside the palace. Glancing up at Loki, she hugged him softly, seeing the slight guilt in his eyes, "It's alright my love." She looked up at him, then around at the city, pointing towards a small restaurant tucked away, "Do you want to try the food there? I've never seen it around before."

@Fenrir

He broke away from his thoughts and smiled at her thankfully, pressing a kiss to her head. “Let’s try. I think it’s fairly new.” He looked up at the cozy looking restaurant, finding it charming yet simplistic. Not many people were there, though it was a bit early. He assumed that the place would be packed by tonight.

@gracehustle

She nodded, smiling back at him gently and letting him lead the way to the restaurant, staying by his side the entire time. The restaurant looked inviting, and even just the smell of food left her stomach growling already. Avalin hoped the cloaks would allow less attention to be focused on them, knowing that she wanted to be out in the city but at the same time wanted to be alone with Loki. She didn't want to deal with too many people, especially if they were there to explain how sad they were for the loss of the child. She didn't want to deal with that pain tonight.

@Fenrir

He led her to a small table in the corner, pulling out the chair for her to sit then he went to sit in his own. He looked at the menu quickly before glancing around the small area. He found it peaceful, glad that no one had recognized them, that or they didn’t want to bother them. He laced his hand with Avalin’s and smiled softly. “Find anything you like yet?” He asked, looking down at the menu and scanning the different options

@gracehustle

Avalin scanned over the menu after sitting down, glancing up at him with a tiny smile and a shake of her head, "I haven't found anything yet. It all looks so good." She squeezed his hand gently and didn't let go as she searched. Anything looked good, but eventually, she settled on a pasta dish, intrigued by it. "Anything you like?" She asked, memorizing her choice only then pulling the hood of the cloak off of her head. Her hair wouldn't stand out horribly and she preferred seeing without the hood hiding her.

@Fenrir

He scanned over the menu again, kind of interested in soup. He nodded and showed her the option on her menu. “This seems good.” He mused, knowing that he needed to eat something more filling. He gently rubbed her hand with his thumb, playing with the wedding ring ring a bit. After a while, he too pulled down the hoodie, daring a glance around. He reminded himself he didn’t need to hide anymore. He was used to being look at like an anomaly. He really didn’t need that attention at the moment, now that him and Avalin were finally together, all he wanted to to was relax, as well as properly grieve for his son.

@gracehustle

She nodded, letting her eyes close for a second as she just concentrated on him playing with her ring. No one had come up to bother them yet, and for that, she was extremely grateful. The only person she wouldn't mind bothering them was the waitress or waiter, and even then she really wanted them to order quickly and be alone again. "I missed you," She murmured, "So much. I'm glad you're here again."

@Fenrir

He smiled softly and pressed a kiss to her hand. “I missed you too my love.” He replied, glancing up as the waiter came by to take their orders. Along with the soup, he ordered a water, then handed back the menu with nod in thanks.
“I’m sorry about the dreams. Hopefully those will go away now.”

@gracehustle

Avalin ordered her pasta quickly and handed back the menu with a soft smile. She turned back to talk to Loki, shrugging and picking at the corner of her cloak, "I hope so too…even if just the majority of them go away. I'm hoping it'll get better." Nightmares had been a constant when she had been working, and only rarely was she graced with peaceful sleep, even when she was exhausted. Maybe being back with him would help that. At least he would be there if they didn't go away.

@Fenrir

“Maybe we’ll see mother and Leif tonight.” He said softly with a small smile. He hadn’t been able to see them since that first time they had used the bracelets. He assumed it was because Frigga was cross with him for fighting with his brother. Loki didn’t blame her, now looking back on it, there defiantly things that could have gone differently. He took a deep breath and nodded “they will love.” He reassured, pressing one final kiss to her hand before breaking away as their waiter came back with their food

@gracehustle

"I would like that," She replied gently, a tiny smile on her face, "I haven't seen them in forever." Avalin's smile grew slightly at the kiss to her hand and it grew, even more, when their food arrived. It smelled like heaven, and even better, she hadn't helped prepare it like almost all of her other meals. She didn't hesitate to dig in, the first time of her doing so in months. It would've been a sight to Magnus, and if Loki knew about it, he would most likely be quite surprised at the sight as well.

@Fenrir

Loki said nothing as Avalin immediately started eating. He knew that she hadn’t been eating much but he hadn’t realized just how hungry she was. He thanked the waiter and also started to eat, forgetting how hungry he was as well. He really couldn’t blame Avalin for not eating, since he too refused to eat most days due to stress or rebellion, he couldn’t tell. He smiled softly, glad that she was enjoying the food.

@gracehustle

She was silent the entire time she ate, only speaking again once her entire plate was empty. "That was really good," Avalin admitted with a tiny smile, looking up at Loki and leaning back against her chair. It felt really good to eat something again, especially something as good as the food here. "If we get the chance I'd really like to come back here sometime."

@Fenrir

Loki nodded, trying to steal a piece of her food before she had finished. “It really was. We are defiantly coming back here again.” He said with a smile, finishing off his food and setting it aside. It did feel good to finally way something different. “Want to try the dessert or should we save that for another day?” He asked, glancing around the area as it started to fill with more customers

@gracehustle

"That's up to you, I'll probably just eat off of whatever you order though," She admitted with a tiny smile. Going from eating barely anything to so much made her full extremely quickly, and she knew if she ordered something for herself, she was going to get a killer stomachache. It couldn't hurt to just take a little bit from him though.

@Fenrir

He laughed softly and nodded. “That’s absolutely fine. We can order one to share. If we don’t finish I’m sure we can take it home.” He said, showing her the options. “You choose, I don’t think I can decide.” He said, honestly fine with anything on the menus

@gracehustle

Avalin smiled and shook her head, pushing the menu back to him, "No I want you to decide, surprise me. It's your dessert that I'll be stealing off of anyway." She didn't have anything in mind, but anything chocolaty sounded perfect. Or at least that's the thing that she figured would give her the least intense stomachache.

@Fenrir

He chuckled softly and nodded, taking back the menu and looking over the options. He nodded once he decided on and showed the menu option to the waiter once he came by, not wanting to spoil the surprise by saying it outloud.

@gracehustle

She settled into the seat, excited to see what he had picked out for dessert but more excited to just spend more time with him in general. "So, where do you want to go first?" She asked gently, "Now that you're out and I have no more work to do?" They had more than a years worth of time to make up, and she didn't want to be anywhere near Asgard when they did that.

@Fenrir

“I was thinking one of islands in Midgard. Since you seemed to like the beaches in Florida. I know of a few places like that off that coast.” He replied with a smile, now excited to actually go out with her after a year apart. “We can stay there fir a few months or travel around if you’d like. We’re going to have to come back here eventually, though.”

@gracehustle

Avalin nodded in agreement, a soft smile on her face, "I like that idea. Maybe staying there for a little while wouldn't be a bad thing." She put on a playful fake frown and sighed at his last addition, hoping she didn't actually look disappointed, "I suppose we would have to come back here, you're right. As long as you're not being locked back into that cell again."

@Fenrir

Loki laughed softly and shook his head. “No love, I hopefully won’t be.” He gently took her hand again. “That won’t happen anymore. As much as I can help it, it won’t happen.” He said softly, gazing at her and smiling

@gracehustle

"If there's even the idea that you'll be locked away again I'm taking your punishment," She replied almost instantly, though her words were soft enough not to draw attention to their table again. Avalin smiled at him, squeezing his hand as she watched for the waitress and hopefully their dessert.
