He landed and untied her hands and set her down. "It's alright, I'm here. You're safe now." He kissed her forehead. "I won't let him touch you, not ever again." He cringed. He said that last time, and the time before that. How could he keep his promise with all the duties he had as a hero? He sighed. "Come on, let's get you home." He picked her up piggyback style and flew to her house, landing in front of the door.
His Loved One (One on One, Closed)
As they landed, Summer slid down and shifted to the front of Jacob, hugging him. She knew he kept promising, she believed him at first but it kept happening so many times that she was getting skeptical.
"I love you, Summer," he whispered. "But I have to go. Call me any time you need me." With a final kiss, he flew off.
"GOD DAMN IT!" Sebastian punched the wall of his bedroom, leaving a dent and a few cracks. This had been his best plan yet! How could he have failed? What plan could he do to top that one? He thought for hours upon hours until he finally thought up something. The one thing that would break him would be to take away the one thing that he loved most. And that didn't mean just kidnapping her. He would make her never want to leave! He would make her love him. He would be so weak and easy to finish off. Sebastian laughed at the thought of bringing his nemesis to his knees. Then he could rid of the rest of the humans in the world. It was the perfect plan. He knew Jacob was going out of town soon, for a month. That would be the perfect time to take her. Finally, he would succeed!
Summer sighed, walking inside the house, still afraid. She would probably stay inside for a few days since Tremor never took her from inside her house.
(by the way, what's Summer's worst fear? Cause Sebastian's powers attack the victim with their worst fear, it might be useful later)
(Oh um she had a fear of darkness and has claustrophobia.)
(gotcha)
(I'm just going to skip to a couple of days later.) "I'm sorry, I have to go." He kissed the top of Summer's head, holding it in his hands. "I wish I could stay here with you." He looked her straight in the eye, hands on her shoulders. "Listen to me. If you so much as see him, you call me. I'll be here as fast as I can."
"Please be safe," he whispered. "I love you." And with that, he left, leaving Summer all alone in her home. He drove to the airport, and when he made it to the hotel room in California, he opened his bag, finding a little note, which read, "Watching her :)" Jacob froze with fear. He had already used his power too much today, he couldn't lift himself off the ground. Cursing, he pulled out his phone and texted her, "Are you okay?"
Summer sighed as Jacob left, flopping down on the couch. She felt her phone buzz, so she checked it, texting him back, I am, why? She lied her head back and closed her eyes, relaxing.
Jacob breathed out a sigh of relief. "Just making sure," he responded, shutting it off. She probably thought he was going crazy, and he agreed. She's fine, I'm just scaring myself, he thought. But how could he know that he wouldn't hurt her when he was gone for almost a whole month. Just wanting to escape from it all, he laid down on the hotel bed and closed his eyes
The next day, Sebastian watched as people walked in and out of the coffee shop. It was a slow day, he could tell. He waited for what felt like forever until finally the last customer walked out. Entering through the back entrance, he snapped his fingers and made the lights go out. Stepping towards her, he could feel her fear creeping down her spine. Placing one hand on her shoulder and one on her mouth, he leaned in and whispered, "Hello, dear."
Frozen in place, she started shaking ever so slightly. Her heart had already sped up, her breath speeding along with it. Everything had been perfectly fine for a few weeks and the one day she decided to go to work, she was met with Sebastian. There wasn't really much she could do, so she just stayed there, not wiggling or kicking to get free.
"Ah, not even going to struggle? That's fine by me." Sebastian pulled a cloth from his pocket, which was laced with chloroform, putting her to sleep, and brought her to his lair. He strapped her wrists and ankles to a large metal chair, and sat across the table from her, waiting for her to wake.
About 20 minutes later, Summer awoke. She looked around confused, then her eyes stopped on Sebastian, frowning. "What is it this time?" Yes, she was terrified, but she was honestly more tired of being kidnapped by him.
He smiled. "Ah, I just enjoy seeing you helpless." He stood up and paced around the room. "You know I would give anything to see someone suffer, and you're especially easy to kidnap, considering your precious boyfriend is out of the question. Don't worry, I'll make sure he knows you're fine." He held up her phone and shoved it back in his pocket. "Anyway, I'd like to know something. Tell me what he did with that remote. I can't make a replica and i've been dying to blow something up."
Summer sighed slightly, eyeing Sebastian. "I actually don'tâĤ he never tells me what he does with his superhero stuff unless it's saving me from you." She leaned her head back in the chair, looking up at the ceiling. "But even if I did, I wouldn't tell you, obviously."
