Akuma tilts her head the other way now. "You forget, I'm from Japan. Whatever last name you have won't be all that common there."

"I can keep them alive enough to test any new ideas I may have. You forget something, birdie. . . I'm Bachiko Akuma, the world's worst criminal. I'm way, way worse than anyone else. I may only have been convicted of 50 murders, rapes and homicides, but even I have lost count of how many I've killed. I know it's over 400, though. . ." she giggles. "Why do you say that, though? Is it because you want to be one of my playthings?"

Sam stares at her for a moment, "Perhaps." She whispers. It was always a whisper with her. "I say it because I can. And I know none of my family has been in Japan. And I know who killed my oarents. It wasn't you."

Sam sways side to side slightly, watching the woman, "I don't think you'd give up the chance to have a 'plaything'. Seeing as it might be a lo g while before they give you another cell mate if I die."

Sam wanted to scream, but her voice stayed soft and even, bedroom soft more like it. The idea of being the center of a sadist attention was growing on her. And she knew she'd do anything to feel the pain.

Akuma smiles brightly, her fangs flashing again, as well as her eyes.

"Well, this is certainly a turn that I am willing to accept. After all, nobody has ever willingly submitted to my will once they figure out who I am." she says.

She trails one of her black nails across the line of the woman's collarbones.

"Say, do you have a name?" she asks.

Sam closes her eyes, shivering slightly. “Sam.” She utters, “I go by Sam.” She looks at Akuma, staying still. “Well, they say I’m crazy, and I would guess most sane people dont go out looking for pain. Do you think that’s crazy?”

Sam didn’t believe she was actually crazy, but maybe she was. She wouldn’t have a problem with that, but it meant she would get locked up. She didn’t want to be locked up.

"Sam. . ." Akuma utters, closing her eyes, rolling the name around in her mind. She opens them again as the woman starts talking again.

"Crazy? You wouldn't be with me if you were just CRAZY, sweetheart." she smirks, trailing her finger along to the back of Sam's neck as she walks around the woman, inspecting her.

Sam shivers, letting it travel down he spine at the Other woman's touch, "Oh. . . I know that. . ." She mumbles, "But still. . . Am I really insane for liking my own pain? What's wrong with enjoying it? It's better than being depressed."

Akuma feels the shiver and chuckles darkly, pulling down Sam's collar slightly to examine the top of her back.

"That depends. . . am I insane for liking other people's pain? After all, in the end they do die. I just. . . speed the process up a little bit." she replies.

Sam stays still looking over her shoulder to watch Akuma. Her slim shoulders tensed slight at the pull on her collar, and the sudden brush of chilled air on the newly exposed skin.

She ponders the Other woman's question, "No. . . I don't think so. . . I think what determines it are the things we do to get that pleasure." She murmurs, he voice soft as air, barely loud enough to be heard.

"Oh? Then that means either way, I am insane. You know the things I've done to get that. . . pleasure." Akuma smirks, the last word a quivering whisper of remembrance, of all the pain she's caused in the world.

She lets go of Sam's collar and slips back in front of the woman, staring her in the eyes.

Sam looks back at Akuma and shrugs, "Really, it's all just a point of veiw, isn't it? One person my think it's perfect fine to kill people, while another dose not."

"Its all just a point of view." She repeats

"That's where you're wrong, sweetheart. As long as you're in here with me, you are my plaything. My slave. And you will listen to what I say, if you want to continue living."

Sam gasps, closing her eyes, silent for a moment. She then huffs a soft laugh, "I can listen, but that doesn't mean I have to." She looks at Akuma, smiling slightly, "Kill me if you want, but how long would you be in here alone? Without anyone to hurt?" She tilts her head slightly. “And what if I do things you dont like because I want you to hurt me? Or just ignore you on purpose?”

"I could break out, like I have before, and go on another killing spree. I wouldn't be alone, then. And besides, I'm never alone anyways. The voices and ghosts are always there, just waiting." she chuckles.

"As for your last little statement. . . I can see that the best way to torture you is to keep you from feeling pain." she grins.

Sam hums, “If you break out, I’ll either follow you, die, or sit here in the nice little cell until they eventually drag you back. All of which I wouldn’t mind doing. Except the death, but I wont mind that up until death, so. . .” She shrugs.

“Look, either way, I feel pain. Not like you can make the scars on the inside go away. And, if you, by some miracle, could do that, then I’d be ‘sane’ and wouldn’t need to be here and can go on with my life.” She shrugs again, “And, I’d be perfectly content to sit in a corner while you ignore me and talk to your little voices, either way, I’m happy. Or, somewhat happy.”

Sam laughs, “Maybe that’s the point.” She crosses her arms, looking down at Akuma, “If you’re having fun, I’m also having fun, but if you’re not having fun, I’m still having fun. What a nice situation we have here.”

She sits down next to Akuma, “What, did you expect me to be afraid of you?” She looks at the other woman, “Try to run screaming my head off or something? Beg you to not hurt me?” She tilts her head.
