O'Hara let a light smirk settle on her features. Ravelynn was beginning to get easier to read while O'Hara kept her outer defenses up. "With your… how did you so kindly refer to him? Loverboy?"

O'Hara turned and squared her shoulders to Ravelynn's. "No. I'd like you to elaborate."

O'Hara's expression changed almost instantly. "I refuse to let you return," she said shortly. "You can stay with me for the time being, and my car will take you to and from work. No will not be an acceptable answer, am I clear?"

"Good." O'Hara nodded, and the elevator doors opened. "Come on," she instructed, leading the way down the hallway toward her suite.

"Well don't," O'Hara replied, walking with set confidence in her steps. "Walk like you belong, and you do belong."

"Yes, you do." O'Hara glanced over at her. "Long strides, keep your head up and square your shoulders. Confidence is attractive, darling."

O'Hara's stoic composure broke as she cracked a small smile. "You're trying," she remarked, reaching the door to her suite, sliding the key in, and stepping inside.

she sighed and followed O'Hara inside. " wow, this is beautiful"

O'Hara nodded slowly. "Thank you, I suppose. Not much is mine, though. That's the entire point of living in a hotel."

The doctor slipped her coat off and hung it by the door. "Sounds lovely," she agreed, pacing over to the kitchen and bending down to open her freezer so she could get out an ice tray.

"Of course, I have spare clothes," she remarked, and with pursed lips, she shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure… The bed is big enough that we won't have to touch, if you prefer it there. Or the sofa is rather comfortable."

she shrugged " alright, ill think about it," she said

O'Hara nodded and pulled out the bottle of scotch she kept and wiggled it in the air with a smirk. "Hurry up you," she chided, gathering glasses from a small cabinet in her kitchenette.

O'Hara scrunched her nose – it was an adorable expression, but she'd never admit it herself – and poured two glasses worth. "There." She took her glass and raised it quickly to her lips. "Cheers," she remarked and drained it in one sip.

ravelynn did the same, smirking to O'Hara

O'Hara's eyes widened as she put her glass back down for a refill. "Damn," she breathed. "I needed that after today."
