“How can you love a curse like me...?” (Gay oxo)

In short, I have a half breed dragon boy who has been told all his life he’s a curse. He grew up in a poor village and was abused by his own mother. Eventually, he finally ran away from home. He found a family through a couple finding him on the streets of the city at a young age. He was adopted by two loving dads, but still has quite the fragile self confidence.
Also he has a fear of women due to his own mother beating him nearly every day.

Name: Malachi Weathers
Age: I was thinking 20 for this
Gender: Male
Looks: Messy red hair, freckles, dark green eyes, light skin, a few ruby scales on his shoulders and upper arms. He has scarrings all over him from injuries that never really healed right. He also has a pair of red dragon wings sprouting from his back, golden horns on his head, and a dragon's tail
Personality: Shy around new people, very slow to trust, scared of most people in general. He has a very warped view of the world, thinking everyone is going to hurt him or would end up leaving him in the end. Or both.
Other: People used to poke fun of him because of him not being entirely human. He was born of both dragon and human. When his birth mother realized that she created a monster, she began to have doubts and regret. He tried to assure his mother that things would be alright when she had begun to abuse him. Eventually, it got so bad that he ran away before his own mother ended up killing him.
He prefers to go barefoot when possible.

Maybe Aston comes back from a world jump and it’s accidentally in the middle of the sidewalk and he bumps into Malachi? Either that or they both live in different worlds and they meet somehow?

Malachi sat up in the tops of the trees, seeming to enjoy the breeze and the view. He had been up here for about an hour. It was quite nice as half breeds everywhere were given liberation from any sort of testing and harassment. Everyone had equal rights, but it was still hard for Malachi to give many people trust. He knew to be polite and that he wasn’t hated anymore. His dads loved him with everything they had as well.
That still didn’t help with the extreme self doubt his brain liked to plague him with. His dads believed it was his birth mother’s fault, but it wasn’t just her. Everyone in his village hated half breeds. It was a sin to mate with anything but your own kind.
Malachi climbed down from his perch, deciding to probably head back home.

Malachi hadn’t been paying much attention to what was going on, so when someone else’s body slammed into his own, he fell to the concrete beneath him. The fall startled him a bit, but when he realized someone was on top of him, he feared for his life. This was a strange person he had never met and they hadn’t stood up and apologized yet. Did this mean that he was going to get threatened? He had no self defense training, so he was a very easy target. Malachi’s throat was dry, not letting him speak just yet. He noted the body on top of him was larger and a male at that. He had dark, raven hair that seemed quite soft…
Were he not terrified, he would have run his fingers through it.

Malachi took a deep breath. It was a mistake. He was fine. Nothing was going to happen. He slowly took the outstretched hand and stood to his feet. He was probably feeling a bit anxious because he was actually wearing shoes today. They felt weird every time he put them on. “I’m… okay,” he said, his wings fluttering a bit. Nothing seemed to be damaged or hurt when he did. “I wasn’t really paying attention either, I’m sorry,” he apologized, hoping to keep the stranger from being upset. Some people were like that. They’d apologize but still want to hear one back or they’d get angry.

Malachi suddenly felt a bit self conscious as the other stared at him. He didn’t like being reminded that he wasn’t normal. Even here, he stood out with his shimmering red scales. At the question, Malachi looked a bit confused. The guy in front of him didn’t know where he was? Did his bus drop him off at the wrong stop or something???
“Um, you’re in Sechion… at uh the corner of Cliff Pines and Fluxet road,” he replied, hoping he was any help.

Malachi blinked a moment. Okay, this guy probably hit his head or was drunk… There were no other planets with life on them as far as anyone knew. “Earth…? Are you okay…? Do you need a doctor?” he asked. By now, the half breed seemed less scared and more concerned. This guy might need a bit of mental help.

Malachi didn’t seem to quite believe him. A few seconds ago, he believed there were other planets with life on them. He wasn’t very good with being assertive though, so he decided not to argue. “Okay… if you say so,” he said. The half breed stood there, not really knowing what else to say. He could start walking, but that also seemed quite rude. Even if he was a stranger, he felt bad being disrespectful. Especially with how his life had gone.

(I AM SO SORRY. I had a lot of things to do and was off notebook entirely for awhile.)

“Uh… well, there’s an inn if you mean that sort of thing… otherwise if you mean to just sit a moment, there’s a coffee shop a block away…? Are… are you sure you don’t need a hospital or something?” Malachi asked again. The way the male was so dizzy and not knowing where he was kept bothering him. Maybe he should stop asking because he could also be very drunk. Then again, from how close they were earlier, he didn’t smell any alcohol.

Malachi couldn’t help his worried thoughts, but decided to let it fade to the back of his mind for now. There was also the fact that he didn’t want to make the strange man upset with him for asking so much. “It’s right around the corner,” he replied, hands moving to fiddle with the hem of his shirt. He remembered when his clothes used to be tattered and worn all those years ago. Now, he wore a clean, pale blue shirt with a pair of jeans along with a pair of sandals. It was a bit odd to be wearing shoes like that on a cooler day, but it was as close as he could get to barefoot.
