Lady Robehod is a lovely woman, as cunning as she is fair, and loyal to her husband Prince John, brother to the one and only Richard the Lionheart, good and true as any woman could be. So it seems. Truly, the fair Lady is something of a trickster mink, less of a man's woman and more a woman's man. She sees the plight of her people, and she wishes an end to it. So one night, with the help of faithful handmaiden Maid Marion, she fakes her death by suicide and runs off into the night, seeking a life of adventure over the stagnation of her marriage. She takes on the name of Robin Hood, and from that point on becomes the biggest headache Prince John has ever known.

An alternate telling of Robin Hood, in which Robin Hood is a bisexual queeeeeeen!! and also robs the rich to give to the poor but it's classier becos she's,,, she's fabulous your honor.

Template to be posted soon, idk what I want to do with this.

(Oh this is lovely, stalking!)

Uhh I was thinking pseudo medieval as in a kinda all-fairytale-lore-is-true-to-some-degree type thingy?? Idk?? Like, history is still history, but also, Fae meddling in human affairs, vampires running amok, dwarves and elves causing mischief, etc??

@knightinadream group

As long as it's cool with you, I think I'll just stick to being Robehod's handmaiden. Also is Marion her first or last name?

First, surname is up to you. And she's probably gonna be older than 21, if that's okay with you??

Name: Robehod Godfrey/Robin Hood
Title: Queen/Lady/Queen Consort
Age: 23
Gender: Cis woman, she/her
Sexuality: Bisexual, but currently has had it up to here with men so shrugs
Appearance: Robehod is muscular, almost masculine, and tanned with rough skin from spending as much time as she can outside, rain or sun. She has short auburn hair she cut off the night she ran away, it's faintly wavy and goes down to her shoulders, always tied back. She currently is in disguise as a man, with only her most loyal followers knowing the truth of her body, and passes by pretending to be much younger than she really is. This illusion is difficult to maintain due to her height, standing at 5'11", but manageable as the crew has seen stranger. She has freckles, an apple shaped face and a long, pointed nose, with piercing green eyes that perfectly match her green almost Peter Pan-esque outfits she makes herself.
Personality: Very loud, quick to fits of passion and even madness, and frankly a handful when drunk. Always looking up to the sky and wondering what else could be out there, and always looking to women for companionship and even love. She's fickle, Robehod has always been that way, cunning, and with a great rage at humanity and what her now ex-husband has done to her once noble country.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes the outdoors, sparring, archery, and the sky. Dislikes lectures, people telling her what to do, bitter tastes, and most men.
Backstory: Robehod was married to Prince John out of a need for her family to ascend politically. She was raised with a decent education, but always wished to spar and fight with her brothers no matter how unladylike it seemed to her family. She became obsessed with archery especially in her teenage years, and it was not until she was married to Prince John at 17 did she begin to mellow out, so her family was told. In truth, she became even more of a problem, she was just someone else's to deal with now. And now, she's running off.
Other: Has taught herself to fight by sparring with her handmaidens, and is pretty damn good now too.

Name: John "Little John" Smalls
Title: N/A
Age: 25
Gender: Trans man (kinda. See backstory) EDIT he's cis now sorry I changed in the middle of writing him.
Sexuality: Bisexual also becos it's like,,, het polyamorous couple with distinctly bi… not even subtext it's just blatant.
Appearance: 7'5" in height, and with broad shoulders and muscles to make his size even more impressive. John is a true juggernaut, with curly red hair, pale skin marked with many scars, and grey eyes like stormclouds. He's got a crooked nose, full lips, and soft hands not made to kill.
Personality: Gentle giant, more subdued than Robehod but also more sensitive to others than she. Little John is frankly a nice, genuniely loving and caring dude, and he's the epitome of himbo. I can't even.
Likes/Dislikes: Dislikes the rich, violence, and religion. Likes smart folks who can do the thinking for him, animals, and the forest.
Backstory: John Smalls was born to a poor family in a village just off the edge of the woods. He was a huge baby, and he only grew bigger, becoming a grand protector of his village despite his love of animals and his desire to be less of a hero, more of a healer. He eventually got exiled after refusing to join the military on King Richard's crusades, and lives in the woods alone which to a chronic introvert like him is honestly less lonely and more chill and peaceful.
Other: He's just a funky lil dude. Chill little man.

Name: Opal Marion
Title: Lady Marion
Age: 22
Gender: Cis female (she/her)
Sexuality: Omnisexual
Apperance: She has soft refined features that goes with her personality. Her frame is small and curvy. She stands roughly around 5'6" to 5'7". Her jet black hair is wavy and goes down almost past her back. Most of the time she has it in an asymmetrical twisted updo, but she does like to have it down when possible. Her eyes are baby blue and almond-shaped. She has ivory skin that feels silky to the touch. There is a small birthmark on the left side of her nose. Her back is covered in whip slashes; she loathes them and they make her heavily insecure.
Personality: Opal is a soft-hearted young lady who has her heart on her sleeve. She always puts others first and thrives off of helping anyone she believes is a good person. A pure angel or ball of sunshine are some accurate descriptions of her. Do not let her soft personality fool you. She is determined, she is persistent. She's strong, but she believes that she can be soft and smiely too. Maybe a bit anxious, but still strong in her own right nevertheless. Quite intelligent too.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes helping others, flowers, stargazing, her family, children, flowly dresses, and sweet pastries. Dislikes heights, being taking advantage of, alcohol, having to take off her clothes, and spiders
Backstory: Opal was born out of wedlock. Her father is one of the king's royal advisors while her mother manages an inn. Ever since her birth, her father made sure that her life was a living hell since he had given up on killing her. Even when she stepped up to defend her siblings and was tortured, she did her best to not let it stop her. Opal became a handmaid at the age of thirteen and has been one ever since. From cleaning to sewing to tending to wounds, she can do it all.
Other: Opal enjoys people watching. She prefers to be in the background as things happen, it's just the way she is. She's a damsel in distress who can kick ass.

Yes let's get started! I am not sure where to start, maybe after the escape?

I'm thinking it would yeah be after their escape, and they'd be walking through the woods of Sherwood Forest when they come across Little John, Robehod challenges him to a duel, etc. etc. and they become friends

@knightinadream group

Alrighty then, sounds good. You can start whenever you're ready. I'll post my starter as soon as I can.

(Cue Orion completely forgetting to make a starter.)

Robehod was currently traveling on foot into the forests of Sherwood, with her faithful handmaiden Opal. She didn't exactly know where she was going, but frankly, that was the beauty of the thing. She was out on her own now (with Opal, of course), in the wilds of Sherwood with nothing but her wits and her ambitions to keep her company (and Opal). She'd never known the outside world could be so amazing! The trees stretched far above her head, and the woods were abuzz with the sounds of animals running around, plus with the way light filtered through the leaves it was almost angelic.

She loved the scenery, and she knew to some degree which plants were safe and which to avoid. But what made this experience truly special, was that it was her own. She was the one calling the shots now, she wasn't going to have to deal with any stupid Princes or Kings or Royalty or have to have any responsibilities whatsoever! Frankly, she was unsure why she hadn't done this sooner. She wiped her brow with her shirt- she was wearing men's clothing, what a novelty!- and continued walking in relative silence- at least, outwardly. In her mind, she was buzzing.

"Opal, look!" she said, in a whisper-yell, pointing over to a clearing with a brook and bridge. "It's enchanting! But who built that bridge? Perhaps a Fae Lord or Lady, we should hurry along if so. Fae don't tend to like mere mortals touching their things." but out of the clearing, came a giant of a man, not bedecked in green like Robehod or a Fae would, but in peasant's garb, dirty and stained beyond saving. Robehod hid behind a tree, pulling Opal with her. What was this giant doing in her woods (as Robehod had decided that, barring the presence of Fae, this woods was hers)?

Opal followed behind her ladyship a few steps back. Keeping her eyes to the ground, she would stop sometimes to pick up a root or plant that could be used for medicines. Now her traveling pouch is full of random roots and herbs; she could not help it though. Her heart was beating out of panic from her and her mistress escaping. She could not say no to the mistress, but she knew that it would be highly distressing to her for a while.

Thankfully the forests of Sherwood were calming enough. She likes the different colors mixed together from the trees and plants. The sounds of sticks and leaves crunching underneath their feet is so satisfying. Birds chirping helped her calm down a little. All of it made her realize that she does not have to worry about the thoughts of other hand maids or the other servants. They were away from all of that now.

Her chin shot up to glance up at what Robehod was pointing out. At first, she wanted to give a shrug as a response, but she knew that would be foolish of herself. She doesn't know much about bridges, but it could be possible a fae made it. Before she could say anything, her eyes caught the gigantic man then Robehod had pulled her behind a tree.

She was practically as stiff at the tree they were hiding behind. "Sorry, my lady…." She murmured. Again, Opal was behind the mistress, but curiously leaned out a little to get another glimpse. Although she can only guess a response, she asked, "Is everything alright?"
