Broken parent-child relationships that turn into found family? Perhaps… anyways that’s the specific trope I want here because it’s mother’s day and I fucking hate my family right now. Selkie stories are also neat.

(I'm not very experienced at roleplaying but I'm intrigued! Could you elaborate on the idea a little? Might just have to stalk this one but I love a good dramatic story lol)

(I also like this idea and have an idea for a selkie based one:)
(A young selkie is separated from their family and washes up on the shore. Character is walking on the beach and sees this child with a coat around them and takes them home. Stuff happens and the selkie and human form a relationship and they become a family, but then the selkie's own family finds them and wants to take them back with them.)
