Okay… Marius sighed softly and gripped Evan's shirt. Give me the blankets and stuff, then… I'll probably go ahead and go to sleep. I'm sick of listening to the stupid wolves…

"I actually like the wolves. Please don't grip me like that or else you'll make my ah, situation worse." He said this sheepishly as he handed over some of the blankets and pillows. "Unless you'd like to take care of it but of course I'll never pressure you into anything."

Marius flushed red and pulled his hands away, clinging to the blankets and pillows instead. I'll… um… I'll have to pass on that one… I'm just gonna… uhm… I'm gonna go to bed now. You have fun with that. He curled up on the ground, his face hidden under the thick blanket.

(Bump)

"I can ignore it Prince. It'll go away." He sighed and held Marius with both arms, but backed his hips away so they wouldn't press against Marius. "I'd prefer having you sleep in my arms then be in pleasure, since this is the last night we'll be able too." He sighed. "I apologize."

O-Okay… don't… don't worry about it… Marius tucked his head under Evan's chin and sighed. He still wasn't comfortable taking off his mask in front of Evan even though he didn't usually wear it to sleep, so he kept it on for the time being. Goodnight… He hummed a bit to himself before he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Evan fell asleep next to Marius after hours of thinking, flinching at every wolf howl he heard before finally going into a deep sleep. He ended up having flash back nightmares over and over until he was huddled into a ball, shivering and whimpering in his sleep, small little cries of "No….not Evelyn leave her alone…" Could be heard surpassing his lips.

Marius stirred a bit when he heard Evan muttering something to himself. "Mm…" Evan? He shook the other lightly to try and wake him. He said he was gonna stay awake… He sighed softly and sat up to glance around the cave, his ears turning back when he heard another howl. Dumbass wolves are still hanging around, huh? Evan! He shook the other harder. He's… dreaming about something? Evelyn? What's going on?

He woke up with a gasp and he just started sobbing. "I'm sorry….I'm sorry I couldn't save you…" He said, not fully realizing that Marius's hands were on him. When the realization hit him he tried to wipe away his tears and back away. "I-I apologize my prince I did not mean to wake you up like this! Don't…don't worry about me."

Marius jumped when Evan woke up, clearly startled by the sudden movements. Um… are you… are you okay…? He asked tentatively. You were dreaming I think… and talking in your sleep… He tensed up when he heard the wolves howl again.

He nodded as the flashbacks still ran their film strips through his mind. He wiped away at the tears when more just kept coming, "Yeah I'm…I'm good." He said quietly, ignoring the howling which seemed to be getting further away. "Go back to bed young prince."

Okay… Marius glanced around nervously before latching onto Evan, tangling himself up with the other with a shaky sigh. He buried his face in Evan's chest with his head under his chin and his arms wrapped around his neck. Um… goodnight…

Evan wiped at his eyes once more and held Marius close. He was shaking still, even though under the blankets. He had lied to Marius, not wanting to worry him too much as he tried to calm down. Taking deep breaths and ignoring the voices in his head, the blame he carries with him whereever he goes. He hugged Marius too tight, just wanting to forget.

Marius whined a bit when Evan squeezed him, wincing and trying to get him to loosen his grip. Too tight, too tight… He was clearly still sleepy, but he couldn't sleep when he felt like he was being crushed. Evan, calm down for fuck's sake… you're hurting me.

"S-sorry…Trauma does that to you." He loosened up a bit but soon he just set down Marius entirely and hugged his knees, burying his face into his knees. He began trying to tell himself that he's okay, that everything is behind him, hoping that maybe he'd believe himself. Did he? No. But it was worth a shot.

Marius drew in a few deep breaths when he was free, glaring up at Evan until he realized the other was still panicking. He sighed and pushed the other's knees away from his body so he could settle in his lap and hug him. Is this helping?

He nodded, a small whimper escaping his throat. "Yeah…just. Remember prince. Even the strongest of people have their downfalls." He said quietly in a rough voice. "I've…I've had quite the terrifying past. The memories continually haunt my dreams. This is just one of the harder nights. Thank you for being here."

"Mm…" Marius huddled a little closer and sighed again. You're welcome. Now, I'm exhausted and I'm gonna go back to sleep, so try not to crush my ribs or anything, yeah? He nuzzled into Evan's chest and closed his eyes to go to sleep again.

(So. And tell people on notebook this. Someone hacked into my account and changed it. I made a new one but yeah. I'm gonna have to work on redoing everything)

"No promises Princey." He said gently, still shaking as he just tried to calm down. Eventually he fell over and went into a dreamless sleep, holding him close and tight. Having Marius around definitely helped Evan. He woke up way after Marius, arms having loosened by the morning.
