Crystal was sat at her mirror, braiding her hair for about the 6th time, unable to keep the rose crown in without it looking weird, when the butler came upstairs and knocked on the door. "Queen Crystal, all the guests are waiting for you. Please hurry." Before walking away. She stood up, her huge green dress draping off of her. After fixing the crown, finishing the braid, and checking her makeup one last time she descended the stairs down to the ballroom. She was supposed to find a husband within this ball, but she had her doubts. Her head raised high she immediate gravitated towards a cloud of fairies flitting about the dessert table, and in common Fae, began to converse with them politely.

She caught him, stood him up, and smiled graciously. "Don't bother yourself mistakes happen! Do work on those manners, you've got cookie crumbs all down your front dear." She pulled a hankerchief from what seemed to be the depths of her dress, and wiped off his corners and front. "Elfs are much more graceful beings then that." She ruffled his hair a bit and smiled. "You do look quite handsome tonight." She said as the fae sat in her hair and on her shoulders,making her whole face glow and sparkle. The music then just began to pick up, and Crystal pick up her skirts. "Oh! I know this line dance! Ever since I was a little kit. I'll be back to dance with you in a few." And off she rushed to the dance floor, with excitement in her wake.

Her steps were perfect, as she sang and swayed. Eventually the singer just stopped, since she knew the funny rhymes and interesting steps, letting her loud and heaily accented voice ring throughout. All eyes were on her. Some with greed, others with malice, most with joy and envy. She suddenly picked up a young boy and spun him around, and secreted a cookie into his hand before twirling away. She sure was fun, rocking back and forth. And when her heel broke? She kicked off her heels, spun around twice and clapped, keeping perfectly in time, not missing a step. There was a certain bumbling grace about her. The song ended and true to her word, she made her way over to Lincoln, talking to another man who was trying to get her to dance. "Well I am sorry my dearest Richard, but I promised my next dance to someone else, and I am very true to my word. If only you could say the same."
