"Help me!" Shrieked the poor person when they saw Colden enter. Mavi rolled her eyes when she heard the person calling for help. "No one care hear you!" She called from the other room as she pushed herself to her feet.
I have three very VERY dark ideas (one on one) (closed)

"Hello to you too." Colden said sarcastically as he entered and smiled warm and comfortingly at the poor person. Then he walked over to where Mavi was.
"Oh screw off. I have work to attend to." Mavi rolled her eyes when she saw who it was. "Why is it always you that come along? Huh hot stuff?" She forced herself to keep from using her magic so early on.
group
He smiled"aww you think I'm hot." He said sarcastically then looked around. "Also I came along because I heard a noise, and was bored enough to follow it. Alright dear?"
"Hot enough to light your surroundings on fire." Mavi offered a sweet smile before turning sour. "Well you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat."
group
His smile turned sad. "That's the same way my cat died." He said as he slowly made a perimeter of fire around the room.
"Awe. You saying imma die like a filthy animal?" Mavi stood her ground, even though the fire made her want to try and run. She slowly let poison poor from her. Knowing that she couldn't muster the strength to do much else quiet yet.
group
"No I'm not saying you will die like a filthy animal. I never even implied that." He said shaking his head. "So why exactly are you torturing random people?"
"Awe honey, its not random. Haven't you see the pattern yet?" Mavis voice came out cold and hard like winter. She contemplated on using her power. She could get this over with quickly, right? But then again she knew the only reason he had yet to kill her was because of dumb luck. After all, fire was much stronger then her plants and poison.
group
"I'm sorry I haven't had the time to study everything you have done, and everyone you torture." He said to her then looked at his watch.
"Running low on time?" Mavi smiled. Perhaps she could find a way to satal until then.
group
"No, well. Yeah. I have to meet my grandma at the hospital." He replied.
"Well, it'd be a shame if she where to die?" A wicked smile crossed Mavi's lips, but it quickly disappeared. After all, this wasn't a a friendly chat. But she couldn't deny the fact that she had one question. "I'm a bit weak at the moment. If its not already obvious. I mean that weakling knocked me down." She, against what her body seemed to be screaming at her not to do, pulled her energy together. Ready to attack if needed.
group
"Ok… Um ok. You should probably go rest. Want to fight like maybe tomorrow?" He replied to her and let the fire die down.
Mavi barked out a laugh, though she was almost stunned by his response. "You actually almost sound worried. Afraid you'll kill me?" She took a step back though, almost hoping he wasn't joking.
group
"I'm not worried and I am not really concerned about killing you. I'm just tight on time." He said then looked at his watch it was just becoming 7o'clock.
"Well, this just might be the biggest mistake you've ever made." Mavi offered a sweet smile before realising just enough poison to make the room spin. "You really suck at your job by the way. Shoulda taken the opportunity." With that she waived and ran like her life depended on it. After all, she was pretty sure it did.

He started choking and fell to the ground. The room spinning, it had an effect like vertigo. He breathed slowly trying to not breathe in the toxins even if he couldn't avoid them. He choked on the air and the poisons of it.
Once Mavi thought she was far enough, she took a moment to breath. Her adrenaline wearing off, along with her shakyness. Though a sickness took its place. Making her wish for the adrenaline to return, no matter how shaky it made her feel. "Crap." She mumbled, knowing she should have taken the risk of running with out ditching any of her poison. But it did seem that her dumb luck had been holding out.
group
Colden let out some flames and burned the poison out of the air then got up. He immediately went to open a window and get fresh air. he stayed there for a while breathing. Once he was good enough he left back to his dorm room and got into regular clothes.
Mavi found her way home, changing as soon as she closed the door behind her. Though she still had to take it slow, after all she had been pushing herself lately. She looked at her watch, looking for how much time She had before meeting up with colden.
group
Colden Finished getting dressed then grabbed some advil to take care of the head ache the poison gave him. Then he sat down at his computer looking at stuff to kill time.
No matter how hard Mavi tried to shake what had happened, she couldn't. Her mind kept wondering back. To how she hadn't gotten what she needed, to how she got lucky. But somehow Colden kept sneaking into her mind, and her father. The fact that he'd be disappointed in her in more ways then one. It didn't take long for her thoughts to start to over welm her, making Mavi give into her urge to call Colden.
group
Colden was still sat at his desk when he heard his phone ring. Because for some reason it wasn't on vibrate. He got up walked across the room, it was like five feet. Then he grabbed the phone and picked up. "Hello." He didn't even bother looking at the contact name.
"Hey colden!" Mavis voice was bright and cheerful, even though she herself felt like melting. "I knew we're hanging out later, but I got bored. I'm not bothering you right?"
group
"No, you're not bothering me. I was just killing time, using my computer." Colden replied with a slight cheerfulness to his tone.
"Oh! Well if you want to meet up sooner then our original plan I'm chill with that." Mavi smiled hopefully, "but if not thats also chill."
group
He Smiled after listening to her talk. "Yeah i'm cool meeting sooner. I'm not actually doing anything." He replied.
"Great! Say in twenty minutes at JJ's bar on main?" Mavi found herself chewing on her bottom lip. Why was she so excited to see him so soon? But then again, her thoughts seemed like a pretty great thing to be getting away from for now.
group
"Yeah. See you there." He said then hung up and grabbed his coat. He left his room locking it then went out the door to the side walk. It would probably take 10ish minutes to walk there.
