The cat noticed and skipped over to her

Fleur smiled up at Asher and started petting the cat happily.

He blushed and looked away

She blushed slightly and continued petting the cat, happy to not be in class.

'she won't like you just like your dad. wait i just met her i shouldn't be thinking like this'

Fleur looked up at Asher happily "You can pet the cat too..I don't bite.."

He snapped out of his thought "o-oh…" He goes over and pets the cats head

Fleur petted the cat and looked for a collar or tag of any kind "Do you have an owner?" She said softly to the cat, letting it rub against Asher's legs again.

"I don't see a collar…"

"What should we do?" She asked, standing up and picking the cat up in her arms.

"Find an owner for it?"

She nodded and sighed slightly "Yeah,"

"One thing for sure is… I can't take it in…" He started feeling down

(K im going to bed, gn!)
"I could," Fleur said with a slight smile.

(Gn!)
"Please do…" he smiled slightly

"Will do," She said happily, the cat purring softly in her arms.

He kept fiddling with his sleeve

She smiled lightly and continued petting the cat "So," She started again, not sure of what to say.

"…U-Ummm…" he then heard a voice
"ASHER" it was his dad "Your skipping class again?"

Fleur sighed and set the cat down, standing next to Asher "No, we were just talking,"

"Then why is he outside instead of class?"
Asher was shaking badly

Fleur put a hand on Asher's shoulder to comfort him "Because we outside to talk, why else?" She knew she was being mean but she didn't care.

"That idiot needs his education."
Asher started crying
"And now he's crying. Grow up."

"I don't know who you are, but shut up. Leave Asher and me alone and go walk off a bridge or something." She turned around and grabbed Asher's hand, pulling him after her and flipping the guy off.

He was forced to follow as his dad yelled "You have hell to pay when you get home"

"Jerk," She muttered under her breath, glancing at Asher "are you ok?" She asked as she continued to storm away from the guy.

He was still crying but nods

Fleur sighed and wrapped Asher cautiously in a light hug "Was that your dad?" she asked softly.

He tenses up from the contact "Y-yeah…"

She backed away "You can stay at my house if you need too.." she looked away and blushed "That sounded weird, um..well, it's me and my parents, they wont mind if you stay, we have a spare bedroom you can use, yeah.."
