She was going to answer but her words melted in her mouth when he kissed her.

Skye kissed her gently, pressing deep into the kiss, pulling her closer.

She was scrambling for her thoughts, trying to get her focus back on track but she couldn't.

Skye smiled into the kiss, sensing her confusion, and pressing deeper.

He'd caught her so off guard but she didn't mind it all.

"Beautiful" he murmured against her lips.

"Not true." She mumbled against his.

Skye responded by kissing her more roughly, seemingly angry that she kept telling herself rhis.

If someone has a bad opinion of themselves and no one around refutes it, is it even a lie? She shook her thoughts away.

Skye slowed again, finally pulling away. "I love you" he said softly, "And I want you to understand that…"

Skye soon ended up braiding it, his fingers working quickly, twining elaborate braids in her hair.

She didn't mind. It wasn't often she did something with her hair.
