"Well it's the one thing I might consider changing about you."

"Good luck with that. You'll need it."

Skye smiled, pulling her close.

Her smile softened, her gaze dropping to the ground. "I love you."

"I love you too, more than anything" he whispered, hugging her tighter.

She smiled a little, holding him slightly tighter, like he'd slip away if she didn't.

Marco sighed, watching their embrace.
Skye pulled her as close as possible, pressing his nose into her hair, taking in her scent.

She relaxed, letting his arms be her safe space.

Skye sighed, never wanting to leave her side again.

"Right should we get going or are we going to just sit here?"

(Unfortunately I have none…. I could go track down some pinterest links of art that I use for inspo for him though….)
"We should probably get going…" said Skye quietly, moving to get to his feet, helping her up.

(I swear I can type, I meant of this, like of their embrace)
She stretched slowly, being slightly stiff after sitting on the ground for so long.

(Oof… yes… that would be nice…)
Skye watched her quietly, ignoring the few cuts he had, as well as the painful gash on his leg.

She took his hand gently, lacing their fingers together. "Come on, you're hurt and I hate seeing you hurt."

"I'm fine" said Skye, "This time definitely." he said, after realizing that's what he'd said after the last encounter.

"You said that last time and then this happened."

"I know…" said Skye sadly, "And I don't want it to happen again…."

"I don't want to be used against you." She mumbled under her breath.

"Crystal…" Skye caught her arm, "I know you don't want that… I don't want it either, But I don't think I could stand losing you now…"

Her lips twitched into a small smile, her eyes finally meeting his again. "And I couldn't stand to lose you either."

Skye smiled, relieved.
Marco came up, "Alright time to get back home," he said, opening a portal back to their hideout.

She squeezed his hand lightly. "Let's get out here, it's cold."

Syke nodded leading her through, limping a little.

It took so much effort for her not to just collapse to the floor. She was exhausted at this point.

Skye flopped with her, rolling up next to her.
Marco rolled his eyes, "And here I go treating injuries again, he said grabbing the med kit, and then Skye's arm.

She had already been half asleep when she passed through the portal, now she just laid her head on his shoulder and fell completely asleep.

Skye wrapped his free arm around her, letting Marco tend to his injuries, as he too fell asleep.

Her lips twitched up into a small smile when he did, cuddling into his side.
