Rio turned to look at her, "How did I get stuck with such a beautiful creature again?"

"I don't know considering the creature you're looking at isn't pretty."

"No, you're exquisite." said Rio firmly.

Rio shrugged, but didn't answer.

She smiled innocently, he wouldn't do anything.

Rio rolled his eyes at her, but still said nothing.

She laid her head on his shoulder, feeling her breath hit her face from bouncing off his neck.

He was warm, countering her constant cold in an instant. She yawned softly before finally giving in and falling asleep in his arms.

Rio smiled softly, leaning down to kiss her forehead, before hsing magic to levitate a blanket over to them.

(Still doing greag ob the writing thing! I have the first chapter of my book done! And I'm started on the second!)

She, of course, didn't notice. She was asleep, how was she going to? Either way, she wouldn't have minded if she was awake at all.

Rio settled where he was, and drifted off to sleep.

Even in her dreaming state, it felt nice. It was nice to fall asleep in someone's arms, to have their warmth be transferred over so easily. She wasn't complaining at all.

Rio slept peacefully, his arms wrapping around her waist to keep her close.

It'd been so long since she'd had a dreamless sleep. Or at least one that didn't make her jolt awake in a cold sweat. So the fact that just him being near seemed to act as a mental block of all the bad things was surprising to her.

Rio slept deeply, not minding her warmth, and relaxing completely.

However, she couldn't take naps, it just wasn't her. So she woke up slowly, wishing she hadn't but knowing there wasn't much she could do about it.

Rio was still asleep, though his arm pulled her back.

She chuckled softly, laying her head on his shoulder slowly. He's adorable…

Her let her ear press against his neck, listening to his heartbeat silently. It always mystified her. The thing she was listening to, this simple sound, was keeping him alive. It was so small but did something so important.
