As the title suggests, I want a dark romance, straight or gay if fine with me. Plot-wise, I'm not really sure.

Not really…

Maybe one of our characters is doing drugs and their best friend is trying to help them, but it turns out to be more than they bargained for.

Straight or gay rp?

(You can start it)

Eli stumbled into the apartment he shared with Jay. They had become best friends when he met Jay in college, well, until Eli had dropped out. Now they shared an apartment together. He paid his half, never telling Jay where he got the money from, he wouldn't like his answer. Eli had been hanging out with friends. Well, they weren't really his friends. They were the people he went out with and got high or drunk with. That night had been the latter. They had gone out to a very shitty bar and drunk very shitty alcohol. But it had done its job and gotten him so drunk he could barely stand up. He wasn't exactly sure how he had made it home and he was sure his phone had been stolen but it didn't bother him. He could barely feel anything, his fingertips tingling. Eli didn't make it two steps in their apartment before he crashed to the ground with a loud bang. He slurred something that sounded something like an "ow" but he wasn't sure.

Jay was sitting in the living room, reading, when he heard a thud. He stood up and heard a indistinguishable noise from his roommate, Eli. “Eli!” He said as he ran over to him, “Are you okay?” Fumes of alcohol flooded his senses and he became more worried, “Are you drunk?!” He lifted him up and half dragged, half carried Eli to the couch.

Eli reached out blindly, grabbing at Jay. "Maybe," he slurred, laughing as if it was the most hilarious thing in the world. He collapsed onto the couch, throwing a hand over his eyes. It was too bright. He was sleepy now and just wanted to sleep. He said as much to Jay, or at least attempted too, it came out more as garbled nonsense.

“It’s not funny.” Jay said and turned the lights off, “You need to rest.” Jay shook his head and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water while Eli said nonsense to him. “Idiot…” he muttered

Eli hadn't so much as kicked off as his shoes. He turned so his face was pressed into the couch. He yawned loudly. "I'm sleepy." He slurred quietly. He curled up, well as much as he could on the couch.

“Drink some water before you fall asleep.” Jay said handing him the cup. He then pulled off Eli’s shoes and set them by the door.

Eli took the water from him, managing only to spill a small amount on himself. He gulped it down and thrust his arm out, in Jay's general direction. He couldn't see very well.

Jay walked back and took the empty glass, “You’re an idiot, you know that?”

Eli put a pillow over his face. "So are you." He grumbled.
