So, I have returned with a couple of rp ideas. I'm pretty open to ideas, the 2 I have are just to get the ball rolling.

Here are just a few rules:
-Obviously andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply
-Please try to use proper grammar, some mistakes are totally fine though
-Swearing is okay
-LQBTQIA+ 100% accepted
-Keep it pg-13 or lower, I'm not comfortable with writing smut and that kind of thing
-One-liners are okay as long as they help progress the rp, but I would prefer it to be more.

I don't really either. I don't have any male ocs and I've never done a rp as a guy. But there's always a first time for everything!

5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes late. Tangerine Moore was supposed to have a date with someone she thought was going to be the one that time. He had told her to be at the restaurant at 6:00, sharp but apparently he didn't like to follow his own plans. For some reason, she hadn't left maybe she was still hopeful. It was her first date in a long time actually and she was growing more annoyed and nervous each minute. It didn't help that the waitress came to check on her every few minutes. To her it felt like everyone in the restaurant was looking at her, some sympathetically and some mockingly. This was especially bad for her social anxiety. She ended up resting her head on her hands while looking down at the table to distract herself.

Quill Vizcaino's eyes glanced around the restaurant as he walked in, looking from large family dinners to small couples dining, to one solo girl in a corner. People were looking at her - almost with sympathy, and she herself seemed to have a sad look to her. Quill being Quill, of course, it only took a couple moments of consideration before he walked over to the table and sat down in front of her, pulling up a chair.

Tangerine heard a chair being pulled open, and it sounded close. She slowly looked up, ready the whisper-yell at her date. But she was surprised to see someone else. "H-hello… who- why are you, um, sitting there?"

Quill smiled for a moment before explaining quickly, like the mechanic he was. "You were being stood up, and I felt bad. So I came over here instead of your date."

Tangerine smiled slightly. "Thanks… but you- you didn't… have to do that." She shifted her gaze back down to the table, not wanting to make eye contact.

"I know, but I wanted to anyway." Quill said with a shrug, pushing some black hair out of his face. "I'm Quill. Nice to meet you."

"N-nice to meet you, I'm…" She always felt slightly embarrassed to say her name, after all, she was named after a fruit. Tangerine lowered her voice a little since she was embarrassed. "…I'm Tangerine…"

Quill smiled a bit. "Tangerine. I like that name. It's fun."

Tangerine looked up at him a bit confused. "Really?… Why? it's just a small fruit that no one ever pays attention to…"

"Well, when you think about it, it's kind of a cool name. Like, who names their kid after a fruit? It's awesome. My name is just the Mexican version of William, so pretty basic."

Tangerine smiled at Quill. "I guess so!" Really nice and thinks my name is cool, he's already better than my other date She thought. "So, what brought you here… to this restaurant… alone?"

Quill shrugged. "I was just gonna try and get a quick dinner so I could go back to the garage, but now I have reason to stay."

"Oh… I wouldn't want to keep you if you have to be somewhere." Tangerine lightly sighed at her own behavior. She felt like she was preventing him from enjoying his evening, like he came over to her not to make her feel better, but to make her look less like an idiot.

"No, I don't. This little thing is interrupting the daily grind of things." Quill told her, smiling. "In a good way. The daily grind of things in my house can get boring."

Tangerine nodded. After waiting for so long, she knew exactly what she wanted and she had rehearsed it a ridiculous amount of times in her head. "So… do you know what you're going to eat?… I'm starving."

Quill nodded. "I think just pizza. I live off of pizza."

"I am having the…" Tangerine paused for a bit and looked at her menu again. "Oh, where is it." She mumbled to herself. After a minute of looking for what she was going to order she found it. "I practiced it in my head… but I forgot…" She smiled at Quill. Jeez, I'm such a mess.
