"Who are you?" Maddox snapped.
I'm bored, does anyone want to do a one on one? ((Open))
Daeshim's head snapped to the figure. "We sure are… I wish I wasn't though, I'm pretty tired." He leaned his head on the wall behind him.
He stood up. "I am no inmate, you idiotic, lowly-" Maddox was cut off by being slammed against the wall. The tall man pinned him against the wall, holding him with one hand by the neck, until his feet were lifted off the ground. "You have no idea who I am, do you?" The man smiled.
Maddox laughed despite being choked almost to death."I know you're vermin compared to me," he sneered, only to be gripped harder. Finally, he let go, and Maddox fell to the ground. "Well, no matter. You'll both rot here anyway." He laughed and slammed the door, leaving. Maddox muttered something under his breath as he left.
Daeshim let out a breath as the man left the cell. He glanced over at Maddox then he moved to the ground to lay down, no matter how uncomfortable the floor was. "I see you've never been held captive or watched a movie before…"
"I have watched a movie before." He insisted. "But no, I've never been held captive. It's… different." He paused. "And annoying. Especially since I'm stuck here with you, the king of annoying."
"That's a relief… and you're welcome…" Daeshim replied with a small smile, looking up at the water-stained ceiling. His eyes looked for shapes in the stains and cracks, that would keep him occupied for at least a bit.
Maddox frowned, trying to concentrate on something besides the cold, bland room. He thought about returning to being a villain, holding all that power and killing anyone who got in his way. But it felt so far away. "How…are we going to get out of here?" He asked. "Got any ideas, o smart one?"
"Well…" Daeshim paused for quite a while. "I got nothing. What about you?" He turned his head to look at Maddox. It was odd to see him in such a weak position. He was used to seeing him full of power and rage.
"Wellll.." Maddox got up and headed towards the barred door, and tried using his Telekinesis to bend the bars. No matter how hard he tried they wouldn't budge. "Must've made them specifically so that my powers don't work on them." He sighed. "Well, that's all I've got."
"I see… they must have done something to the both of us since I can't seem to do anything either…" Dae turned his head back to look at the ceiling again, this time closing his eyes.
Maddox laid down on the dirty ground and unstrapped his tall black boots. "We're going to be here for a while so I guess I'll take these off. Do you know how hard it is to fight in these?" He pulled them off and lifted one up. "They weigh like a ton. If I didn't wear them you'd probably be dead already."
"In that case, you should keep those on. I'm not in the mood to die right now." Dae's eyes stayed closed, almost hard to open. He was tired, even though he had been asleep for quite a while just 20 minutes before.
"Nah, im in no shape to kill you right now, even without these boots. Plus I haven't got any weapons." He didnt want to admit that he only wore the boots because they made him look cool. Then he would definately have to killl him.
"I see…" Daeshim said sleepily. His voice was quiet and he somehow started drifting into a light sleep on the rock hard floor. It was strange being stuck in a cell with the person he dreaded seeing, the person he fought on a regular basis.
Did he drug him or something? Maddox wondered as he got up and started pacing around the room. Weve been asleep for god knows how long and now he's going back to sleep? Or maybe he's just weak. he smiled slightly as he continued pacing, trying to think of a plan.
(Time skip? Or do you have an idea of something else you want to happen?)
(Yeah time skip)
(Okay!)
Only less than an hour later, Daeshim woke up. He blinked his eyes a few times, wincing as he tried to sit up. The hard, flat concrete floor was probably not the best idea to sleep on. His neck and back were sore, and it didn't help that he was cold. "Ah, good morning…"
"It's probably not morning," he stated blankly Maddox had been throwing small pebbles out the barred door into the dark hallway. "It could be three am for all we know. You haven't even been sleeping and hour."
(an*)
"I know, I just say that after I sleep, even if it's mid-afternoon." Daeshim figured Maddox must not have a lot of fun since he didn't really ever get any of his jokes or anything.
Maddox shrugged and threw another pebble out the door. "So youve never been held captive before? Then how are you so calm about it?"
Daeshim shrugged. "I guess I just know there isn't really a way out right now and there's no point stressing over things you can't change." He traced the cracks in the floor with his index finger.
Maddox nodded and was about to say something when he was cut off by a shrill, ear piercing scream. A shiver crawled up his spine. It was the scream of a child. "What the-" he got up and went over to the barred door, trying to see, but nothing was visible. "No.." was all he could mutter out. He had a huge soft spot for children and would never hurt one, and now hearing the scream of one made his blood boil.
Daeshim jumped a bit at the scream and hopped up to look through the bars as well. He tried to squeeze his head a bit through the bars. Only succeeding a little, he sighed going back into the cell. He raked his fingers through his now-greasy hair. He vowed to protect anyone and everyone, especially children. He started pacing within about one foot.
Maddox cursed in his mind, trying to think of something. Then he got it. He would distract whoever was hurting the child. "HEY!" he shouted, banging on the door desperately. "COME HERE!"
