Winter sat on some rocks on the edge of the forest in the outskirts of the kingdom. She was just staring at the sky thinking about stuff. She sighed then got off of the rock and started walking back to the kingdom's village. Winter presumed she would get there before sunset.

Rykah sighed, sitting on top of his roof in the village, his feathers ruffling in the wind. His tail twitched slightly as he watched the activity below him, his ears hidden by his hoodie.

Winter walked into the village and put the hood of her jacket over her head and kept looking down. She walked over to a small booth and bought some fruit. She thanked them paid and walked away to an alley.

Rykah watched a girl go down an alley after buying some fruit, he got up and started to follow her curiously, wanting to see where she'd go.

Winter leaned against a wall and ate an apple, unaware of someone following her. She stayed in the alley eating an apple quietly.

She finished her apple then looked around and walked to the back of the alley and exited between a fence and a building.

Rykah glided to the next building, continueing to follow her.

She stood there in that little area behind one of the buildings and was suddenly engulfed in shadows and emerged as a large black wolf.

She ran and jumped out of their fenced in yard and into the close by woods.

Rykah lept off the building, stretching his wings to attempt a wobbly flight after her.

Winter stopped in the forest and slowed down. She looked around and sniffed the air searching.

Rykah manged to grab onto a tree branch to stop his flight, pulling himself up on it. His hood hd fallen back, revealing his darker skin, and wolf ears.

Winter turned when she heard the movement in the forest and something, heavy? hit a tree branch, or land on it.

Ryakh moved quietly back to the tree's trunk, his fire red wings/ears/tail not blending in very well.
