"Rosemarie?" He tested the name out on his lips, amusement rising to his face. "Demon?" He liked how she'd yet to know who he was. How she seemed to be more upset the afraid. "Don't you know who I am?" He asked, watching her like a predator stalking their pray, and yet at the same time lazy. "Or would you care for me to tell you?"

group

She scowled at him. “You’re cruel and disgusting…” she spat. “I don’t care who you are.”

The angel’s feathers rattled in discomfort under his gaze. She didn’t like that look. It made he feel as if she were about to get murdered.

@Dirt

"Cruel?" Samuels amusement grew, "what makes you think that? Is it because you where nive enough to believe I was human? Stupid enough to free me? What did you think would happen?" Her discomfort at his gaze only made him want to laugh. To corner her and see if she'd scream. But he didn't. For now he was tired, and really didn't want to deal with her being unreasonably afraid.

group

The angel flinched away from his words, looking down at the ground. She slid down the wall, hugging her knees to her chest and throwing her wings around herself. This was all just a bad dream. She’d wake up and be fine, right??

Because right now, she was beyond unreasonably afraid. Right now she feared for her life and was absolutely terrified of him. Of what he would do to her.

@Dirt

He walked over to her and crouched so he was on her level. The devil laced a finger under her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. "Now now, don't lose all hope." Again his tone comforting. Samuel didn't want this little game to end so soon. Especially when he was just starting to have fun.

"There's no reason to cry, Rosemarie." Her name still feeling weird in his mouth. Samuel was tempted to go back to calling her 'little Angle.'

group

She quivered at his touch but glared into his eyes, tempted to spit in his face. “Easy for something like you to say… you’re not the one about to become a Fallen.” She hissed.

“I will no longer be allowed back. Do you know what they do to angels who fall? They take their wings.” She said, her voice failing her and her eyes watering.

@Dirt

"Just the wings? Is that all?" Samuels face not far from hers, Almost like he was daring her to spit at him. He dropped his hand from Her chin. Even as a demon, he wasn't about to over step his bounds that much. He still didn't know what she could do. If she was powerful enough to knock him down or not.

"At least you keep your freedom, even if you are chained to the ground." A small wicked smile came to dance on his lips. He wanted all angles to have as much dispare as this one. For them all to know he had power over them.

group

She pulled her chin from his grip and turned away from him. She shivered, not sure what else they’d do to her. “What freedom? Humans have no freedom.” She replied bitterly. “The ground has no freedom. I’d much rather die and go to hell than to have that happen to me. A disgraced angel…” she sniffled, hot tears streaming down her face.

She knew she wasn’t going to make it out of this… not as her old self for sure but maybe not even alive. “Why do you keep me here alive? Just kill me already. I’m not useful in any way. I’m no archangel. They might not even come looking for me.”

@Dirt

"Hell? Well I guess I'll be seeing you again quiet soon. You know we have a special place for old angles? You'd love it." The devils tone sarcastic. He wiped a tear away much like he had before. Some how seeing this angle cry, annoyed him very much.

He considered her question. Wondering the exact same. Samule dragged a finger across her throat, as if pretending to slit it open. "Tell me, does death scare you? Do you fear what comes next?" His eyes never leaving hers.

group

She hissed, her feathers rattling in annoyance as he touched her again. “I’d rather go there than have my wings taken from me.”

Rosemarie lifted her chin a little higher, shuddering. She glared at him before she spat in his face after his questions, eyes narrowing. “Don’t we all fear death to some extent?! Whether it be what comes next or just our legacy dying. We all fear it.” She growled.

@Dirt

"I think you'd rather your wings taken then hell, Little angle." The nick name already back.

The demon fell back, his face scrunching up. He had been practically inviting her to spit at him, but he hadn't expected it. He cursed as he wiped her spit from his face, amd then he was laughing. At what? He didn't really know. "You're not strong enough to kill me are you?" He ignored what she said. It finally clicking, why she hadn't tried anything yet. Why she told him just to kill her so ready. "You can't do anything against me can you?" It being obvious he was amused, and very very pissed off.

group

She glared at him, watching him carefully as he began to laugh. A fear filled her face that couldn’t be contained by any amount of confidence. He had said those chilling words that stopped her heart. ’You’re not strong enough to kill me are you?’

She pressed herself against the wall again, her wings tight against her back. Now she was terrified. Her bluffing had only gotten her so far. And now it seemed he understood what she had hinted at. Stupid girl.

@Dirt

Samule watched her as she pressed back into the wall, his eyes seeming to be burning holes into her. "Stand up." He commanded, all amusement gone.

Though he still found it funny how long it took him to catch on. He almost felt stupid. Wondering how him, one of the most powerful demons of all, could be so late on something.

group

She did as she was told, standing quickly and abruptly. Rosemarie bit her lip as she looked at him. Yes, she feared death. She feared what would happen next. She feared it all. But she feared this creature in front of her most of all.

@Dirt

Samule stretched, taking a moment before staring her down again. "Take a hit at me." He said as if telling the time. Bored, and ready to get this over with. He had this thing, where if his pray wasn't strong enough he'd teach them how to destroy him. Call it a sick game if you will, but in a way it made him feel less like the ultament a-hole.

group

She blinked at him, shivering. She didn’t want to get too close. “Why?” She said softly, sliding away from the wall and lifting her fists. She hadn’t been a fighter. Never.

@Dirt

"Take it or leave it." Samule said, he opened his arms. Making himself a bigger target, as if expecting her to miss. "I'm not gonna hit you back if that's what you're thinking." He rolled his eyes before squeezing them shut, Expecting her to go for the face.

group

Marie eyes him with a glare. She stepped forwards a little, before swinging her leg up to kick his face. Ok, so maybe she had fought a little.

But it wasn’t much. She took the dagger from her leg, and held it firmly. “What are you planning?”

@Dirt

Samule stumbled back, not bothering to dodge. Pain throbbed in his face, but with a quick snap of his fingers he was feeling fine again.

"Well I'm pissed that your fellow angles didn't teach you how to fight a demon, so now I'm trying to help you. That so hard to believe?" He eyed the knife she pulled out. Not fearing it, just dredding if she decided to stab him. That, he'd deffently try and dodge.

group

She felt a wave of satisfaction roll over her. It was fun hitting him. “They don’t care to teach the lower tiers. We fend for ourselves. Or rely on the higher tiers to save us if we get caught in a bad situation. I could call one here if I wanted. But seeing the whole ‘I freed you from prison’ thing I think they’d kill me too.”

She took another jab with her foot at him, following it up with a slash with her dagger.

@Dirt

Samule took into consideration her words, tensed the whole time. He wasn't sure when she'd take her next hit, and he was not looking forward to the knife.

He, of course, excepted the first blow but jumped back when she swung her dagger. "Hey hey hey, I said I'd let you hit me, not stab."

group

“You don’t get considerations.” She hissed. “So what’s a little stab, you’re clearly able to heal yourself in some way.” She growled. Rosemarie wasn’t going to have it today. She was going to release all of her pent up anger on him.

“And after everything I’ve been through today I deserve a little anger management.”

@Dirt

"Wow, you've had a bad day. Get over it." Samule rolled his eyes again. "I've been in a prison for years. I should be on an angle killing spree right now. But no, I'm here letting you attack me." Though he didn't completely mind. As she did say, he could heal himself some how.

group

“You deserve to be in prison.” She spat back. “You’re unholy, ruthless. Suck it up. Angels are out here helping the world while you tear it down.” She lashed out at him, growling under her breath.

“I pledged to never kill a demon, thinking ‘oh they at least deserve a chance’ but how naive that was! Now I see you kill demon’s on sight… not a single one of them deserves to live.” Marie was filled with a powerful hate now. She wanted nothing more than to kill this demon in front of her.

@Dirt

"Stupid stupid angle." Samule took a step closer to her, his eyes locked on hers. "God made us both so if you have a problem take it up with him." He was radiating heat now. Any amount of cold quickly being snuffed out. "And you can't kill demons, you're to weak." He spit the last part out as if wanting to inflict damage. The demon had tried to be nice, but this angle was missing him off. Even if she was speaking the truth.

group

“Maybe I’ll become a fallen anyways. I’ll refuse to get my wings cut and instead I’ll dedicate my life killing you.” She spat back. Though his words hurt she still attacked, blinded by the tears that fell down her face. “I’ll kill you all… I’ll…” she dropped to her knees, letting the dagger fall from her hands. She didn’t care if she died anymore. She was just plain desperate to get away from this creature.

@Dirt

Samule watched the pitiful mess of an angle infrount of him. "If you're gonna kill me, then you really shouldn't cry infrount of me." He fround and again crouched so he was at her level.

"I'm going to teach you how to kill demons, how does that sound?" He didn't really mind betraying his own kind. In fact he knew many other demons that'd gladly betray him first chance they got.

group

“Leave me alone!” She wailed, trying to brush the tears from her eyes along with her hair. She glanced up at him and groaned.

“Teach me? Why would you do that? Why would you ever do that? Is it some sick joke?! Are you going to kill me after?” Though the words were harsh, her voice was a near whisper.

@Dirt

Samule crawled back a few, so he wasn't so close. "You should really at least try to be nice." His tone completely calm. He had no reason to be mad at her. In fact if he was in her position he'd act the same too.

"Its not a joke," he said rolling his eyes. "If I wanted to kill you I would have by now. Do you think I'd really put up with this much just to kill you?"

group

“To my kidnapper!? No… you don’t deserve my kindness.” She replied, hiding her wings and taking on her ‘human’ appearance once more.

“If I’m being honest… yes. I’m one hundred percent sure you’d do that.” She growled.
