Cassie hesitantly shook her head, walking back out. As soon as she saw Ian, she took off his jacket and carefully gave it back to him. "Sorry for stealing it for so long," she apologised.

“No problem,” Ian replied. “I’m just glad that you feel better. Is Nagi doing okay?”
Cassie nodded, wrapping her arms around herself again. "I - I think so."
“If there’s anything you—either of you—need, you can ask me,” Ian added. “I think Nagi has my number.”
"I'm fine. No need to worry." You should be worrying about Cassie, not me. It seems her and Ian have gotten close, maybe… "We were thinking of going to eat. Does anybody want to join?" Nagi smiled, hiding her pain. She didn't need anyone to worry, especially since she was just a side character. When she got home, then she will worry about herself.
Cassie nodded, then gasped as she remembered something and quickly dug through her bag to pull out an oversized hoodie. "I forgot I had this," she muttered, and slipped it on, putting her hands in the pockets.
Ian looked at Nagi when she asked. He wondered why she didn’t just want to go home after everything that had happened, but he supposed sitting around by herself wouldn’t do her any good. Then Ian glanced at Kaori. “Okay,” he said with a shrug.
"Wonderful." It sucks, I didn't even get to play in the water. Nagi sighed and pulled out her phone. "Does anyone have a place they want to go?" Maybe I can try and get Cassie and Ian alone. Why do I feel like cupid?
"Home," Cassie muttered quietly to herself.
Ian shrugged. “I dunno,” he replied, glancing at Cassie with concern again.
"Ian, how about you walk Cassie home and I can find some place for the rest of us to go." Nagi knew Cassie wanted to go home, but she didn't, Nagi never liked being inside too much. Plus it would give Ian and Cassie some time to get to know each other more.
Charlotte made it to the beach and picked up her cover-up, which was luckily still there. She made sure the creepy guys weren't around before starting to walk back.
Ian looked at Cassie again. “Do you want me to walk you home?” he asked.
Cassie looked down and nodded hesitantly. "If - only if it's not too much trouble. I - I could call my mom, if you don't want to."
“It’s fine,” Ian replied. “It’s no trouble at all.” He gave her brief smile.

"Cassie," Kaori greeted her when she walked out. "How are you doing?" he asked in a quieter voice. Then turning to Nagi, he told her, "There's a place down the street if you want to go there, I saw it on our way here, not sure what food they have, though,"
Cassie shook her head in response to Kaori, not wanting to answer, then turned back to Ian. "Thank you," she told him quietly, waving goodbye to Nagi before opening the door to leave.
"Alright. You two head out and me and Kaori will head to the place he was talking about." It would be nice if I could become close to one of the boys. And it seemed Cassie and Ian were hitting it off.
Ian followed, with a quick wave for Nagi and Kaori. He put his hands in his jacket pockets, now wearing his jacket again. “I guess Nagi’s feeling better,” he said, trying to be positive.
Nagi waved goodbye and sighed sitting in the seat next to Kaori. I want to go back home. Not her home here but out of the Webcomic. She could tell more things were going to happen and she wasn't going to enjoy them, especially a broken heart, it was bound to happen at some point.
Acacia arrived at her house and had no trouble. Of course not everyone at the beach was nice, but she didn't run into anyone that tried to actually touch her. She figured homework was in need of doing and was probably not going to leave for the rest of the night. A little sad to be honest since she would have loved to gone out some more before her parents came home.
Cassie nodded, taking a deep breath and putting on a slight smile. It felt fake, but no one else would notice. No need to make anyone else unhappy.
“This is a dumb question and I feel like you’re going to say yes even if it’s a lie…but are you okay?” Ian asked, feeling kind of stupid. She was smiling now, but it seemed a bit strained, and she definitely seemed upset a few minutes ago.

"Alright, you wanna go now?" Kaori asked. Maybe he could learn a bit more why Nagi's whole personality seemed to change overnight.
"Yeah let's go." Nagi stood and headed to the door. What do I even talk about now? Have we ever even been alone before now? How long have we've known each other? "So, uh, how are you?" They walked down the sidewalk. I wonder when he'll fall for Cassie? It seems Ian might be the first.
Cassie hesitated. "I - I really don't like talking about how I feel," she explained quietly. "I guess I'm just really… overwhelmed."
Ian nodded. “That’s okay,” he said. “Do you want to talk about something else? To help get your mind off of things?”
Cassie thought about it for a moment before shrugging. "Like what?"
“I don’t know, music?” Ian suggested. “What kind of music do you like?”
Cassie shrugged. "I like Panic! at the Disco. Not because I'm angsty, or anything," she added quickly. "Their songs are just… er, fun." She said quickly.
