Charlotte looked over at Will as she walked towards the school, a faint pink tint rising to her cheeks, though it wasn't too noticeable under her makeup. She held her books close to her chest, which was unusual for her as well.
I'm in a cliche Webcomic?!
“I think it’s that way,” Ian said, unsure for once, pointing.
(gtg for the night sorry)
Sweat dripped down Nagi's face as she took a drink from her water bottle. "Hey," a girl with red wild curly hair walked up to her with a smile. "You're pretty fast." Nagi smiled and wiped her sweat with a towel. "Thank you. I've been practicing for a long time." This girl seems nice. "I'm Lily, and you?" Nagi held out her hand and introduced herself. "I'm Nagi." She looked around again and waited to see if any of her friends were coming.
group
Will looked around and saw Charlotte walk into the gates. He smiled and waved hello at her before turning his attention back to his pals.
Charlotte waved back with a soft sigh before walking inside. She was alone since her posse was elsewhere.
Acacia walked up to Charlotte after spotting her alone. She had already been forced to talk down to another girl and noticed Cherry was acting differently, "Hey Charlotte."
"Hmm?" Charlotte looked up. "Oh… hi, Acacia. What's up?" She toyed with her hair a bit, making it flow better.
"Nothing much," Acacia responded looking at Charlotte. She noticed the little subtilties in the way Charlotte dressed today, "Are you doing okay?"
“I think it’s that way,” Ian said, unsure for once, pointing.
(gtg for the night sorry)
(It's all good)
Cassie nodded and quickly headed in the direction Ian had pointed. Why didn't she tell me? She wondered, leaving the building.
"Yeah, I'm alright. I just… got another dress code yesterday, so if I get another, I'll have detention." She shrugged tiredly.
"Ah, got it," Acacia nodded even though since they had uniforms they shouldn't get dress coded. Whatever caused this change from Charlotte, the other girl didn't want to tell.
After talking to Lily, Nagi got ready for the second race. "Everyone get ready!" She walked over to the starting line and got into position.
(At my school we have uniforms and get 'dress codes' for wearing them wrong lol)
"Well, I have to go to class now, so…" Charlotte waved and walked off, her hair bouncing with every step.
"See ya," Acacia waved back and let out a sigh before going to her own class.
"Go," Nagi ran with everything she had. Lily was in first right now, but Nagi was determined to pass her. The people cheering made her happy, even if they weren't there for her. Sadly she only got third this time but she was still proud of herself. "Great job everyone. The names of the people joining the team will be on the board after school." Nagi smiled and wiped her sweat off. I can't wait to tell Cassie. Nagi was positive she made the team.
(I'm not going to let this die.)
(Is this dead?)
(I'm here, but I don't know what to do.)
school
(Same)
group
(I have no idea)
(I'm just waiting for @Emmylove-is-Anxiety to come out to see Nagi. Everyone else can too if you want. She's on the track field.)
(Shastifraz, sorry!)
Cassie exited the building, looking around quickly before running towards the track field. She had to look around for several moments before she spotted Nagi. "Nagi!" She called.
Nagi's mood lifted as she looked to see Cassie. Nagi waved. She moved over to the water and got a cup, before walking over to Cassie. "Hey," sweat dripped down her forehead. She knew it wasn't very attractive, but there was nothing she could do about it. Running makes people sweaty. "How was your date with Ian?" She grinned. She needs to go on a date with all of them. Then she'll grow close to one and they'll start dating, and blah, blah, blah.
Cassie glared. "It wasn't a date. He just walked !e home and we hung out," she crossed her arms, then shook her head. "You didn't tell me you were trying out. I would've been here sooner!"
"I guess I just forgot." Nagi laughed. She thought she told Cassie, but maybe she didn't. "I'm pretty sure I made the team though. Yay." Taking a drink she saw Lily and waved. "Anyway. Have you seen Kaori? I need to talk to him."
Cassie shook her head. "I don't think so. I wasn't really paying attention to anyone, though, so I don't know."
school
Kaori was now just standing alone in front of the school building, but he didn't mind much, as he just put his earbuds in again and brought up his phone to continue reading that webcomic he liked.
Nagi sighed. She wanted to tell him to forget everything she said, and that she was just tired. Having anyone know is dangerous and might change the story a whole lot. Maybe I'm here just to help Cassie fall in love or something. Then when I'm done I can ho home. It was only a thought, but Nagi hoped that, that was the case. "Want to walk around with me to find him?"
Cassie shrugged. "Er, I guess," she said. " I don't have anything better to do."
(So I think I'm going to Reboot this since it didn't exactly go as I thought. If any of ya'll want to join again that's totally fine.)
